It exceeded my expectations, after spending the whole day walking Disney the multiple pools, jaccuzzis, and patio bar/restaruant were perfect to wind down at. Location was great, decor and the double bunks for the kids made us feel like we had a suite.

Developers did a great job with the design and build of the hotel. The staff is friendly and the property is well maintained. Unfortunately, they have pared expenses to the point of not offering a service level consistent with the quality of the building. A couple examples: the Hotel charges extra $16/ day self park fee and $16/ day resort fee( explained […] as getting to use all the amenities/ pools, etc). The pools are open 8am to 10pm, however the kids slide is open from 10-6 because they don't want to pay a lifeguard for the extra four hours. An extra $40 a day for a lifeguard might be a good use of part of the $6000/ day in resort fees. My son was bummed because the slide was always closed when we got home from the parks. I ate at the property twice, room service and breakfast buffet. The food was expensive and not good. The $18 breakfast buffet was consistent with what you typically get for free at an express hotel. HOT TIP: Walk across the street to the Hilton and eat at their breakfast buffet - excellent quality, $22 per adult, up to two kids under 12 eat free! Read more

It is the closest you can stay to Disney World without staying at one of the Disney resorts. Great pool for kids to play and adults to relax with poolside food and drink service. Everything was nice, clean, and well maintained. The service was excellent.

Great place to stay. Gorgeous rooms. Great access to disney (without all the kids). Wonderfully clean. Even has some friendly staff. But the fees were super annoying. How can you justify forcing people to pay for parking when there are no alternatives? You have to pay $15 per day to park in a garage when there is literally no other choice but to park […] off property and get a cab in. It's silly and needs to change. Beautiful Hotel close to all Disney attractions. The hotel offers a shuttle to the parks so you don't need a car, but if you want to venture out somewhere else a car is recommended. The pools, and other hotel amenities are great! So much to do at the resort. Would definitely stay here again.

The facilitity and its staff were for the most part very good. However, the maids failed to follow the hotel's stated practice of not replacing towels and wash cloths that were hung up, perhaps because the towel bars were inadequate for the number of towels & cloths. The double sliding door arrangement for the cloths closet made access to the two, front […] to back cloths bars very akward. A single, parallel bar would work much better but wouldn't fit because the closet is too shallow. There was no light bulb in the desk lamp. The preceeding items are nit picks. The maon thing that made our experience disappointing was the cost of items that I think should have been complementary. Specifically, there is a $16/day/person 'Resort Fee' that you must pay whether you use any of the services or not. The mediocre breakfast buffet costs $20/person! (The complementary breakfast we had at a Quality Inn was far superior!) There is no airport shuttle - they call you a cab that costs $68 + tip. There are shuttles to the various attractions, but they are infrequent. Read more

This is a great hotel and within minutes of all Disney parks. This was our second stay here and we love everything about it...except for paying a few hundred dollars more in resort and parking fees at check out. It is to bad this is not built into the price you pay upfront. Other than that it is a fantastic location and beautiful hotel.

Everthing was great about his hotel, but the best thing was the WONDERFUL staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. As an example, we called two different times for something to be brought to our room, and within 5 minutes it was there. We stayed for 9 nights, and it really felt like a pampered vacation. At first the price looked great for a weekend getaway, then you get your surprise. When you arrive you check in and the service is great the hotel is amazing and there are fees that keep it that way. Prepare to pay 13$ a day for parking and 16$ service fee. Will avoid here next time...

Traveled with young children. Really enjoyed the pools. The restaurants were available and met our needs. A coffee shop for the daily fix and ice cream for the kids in the afternoon. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice. The childrens alcove is a great idea. Not a big as seen on the photo's. Difficult to watch the TV from their bottom bunk. But did give my husband and I much more privacy. It was nice to have free wireless internet, and a fridge. Dressing gowns. The bed was so comfy. The five swimming pools are all […] wonderful, the children never got bored. There are plenty of places to eat, including Pizza which you can eat outside overlooking the lake or around one of the many pools, if you don't want to eat formally. (Much cheaper $14, for a large pizza). We asked for a late check out which was granted until 12 noon, but the room key didn't work after 11am, and that was anoying has it took several attempts back and forth from the 11th floor to the front desk before it worked. The guy on the front desk new he didn't do it right the first time! Which made it worse. So hense my 3 for quality of staff. There is a shuttle bus to the parks and downtown which is free, a little iregular in the frequency. $18 for a taxi to downtown disney if you can't wait. Read more

Make sure you look over your bill as they tried to charge us for a day of parking even though we didn't even have a car-they reversed the charge with no problems. The pool area is very nice with many loungers available-the food and service at the grill there was just average however. We thoroughly enjoyed the food at the restaurant downstairs Tesoro Cove, we ate there multiple times and the service was excellent!! Bar 1521 was perfect for the morning cup of joe and their ice cream was delicious! Since we did not rent a car our dining options were limited but we did not feel that the prices were much more than we would have paid for a meal at Applebee's-and the food at Tesoro Cove was much better! We took the shuttles back and forth to the parks and to Downtown Disney. They run multiple times a day and it could not have been more convenient. Just did a winter Florida road trip and stayed in various hotels in Orlando, Fort Myers Beach, and Marathon in the Keys. As very frequent visitors to Orlando, we thought we had discovered a new gem on Disney property in the form of the Wyndham Grand Orlando. At first glance, it's a beautiful new hotel - rooms are clean and comfortable. The hidden fees (parking $13/ night self park, $16/ night resort fee) coupled with the uncaring, dismissive attitude of the front desk […] management guarantee we will never stay here again, nor will we recommend to anyone. Living less than 2 hours away from Orlando, we, along with our family and friends spend many long weekends in Orlando a year - there are so many alternatives with equal to superior amenities and accommodations that do not trick and deceive you in regards to pricing. Only when the hotel doubled charged my credit card, after having paid weeks in advance through Expedia, did I have the chance to voice my displeasure with hidden charges to front desk management. His response verbatim - "I understand you're unhappy, but the Hilton across the street is WORSE than we are ". Well if the Wyndham is striving to stay one above the "worst" (in their opinion) - we all deserve more! He seemed to be proud that he was only "second worst" in Orlando - Wow!
