It is a great hotel. Super close to the Anway center. Friendly service, good breakfast, free parking. Just be mindful of the fact that it has a bed and breakfast feel to it. We stayed for a weekend to attend a conference at the Amway Center. The room (suite) was large and very comfortable, and had everything you need to stay in if you bring a little food... It was a great B & B for the things you go to a B & B for. I stayed in a victorian styled room which was very large and had a large jacuzzi tub and a fireplace, which went off and on. The positives: Nice building with quaint decor right in the heart of downtown Orlando. And the breakfast was far better than the typical 'Continental breakfast' served at most hotels. The negatives: The room was very small and cramped, the shower stall was tiny so taking a shower was extremely difficult and uncomfortable. "Close to City Hall"
Address on Hotels.com was wrong, spent 45 minutes trying to find the place. Its a bed and breakfast, which isn't available until 7:00 am. Too bad if you're an early riser and need coffee, all though I did nock on doors until I got coffee! The shower in my room was so small that I could barely lift my arms, and I'm a petite person. "Frustrating Experience!"
The address on the web site & Expedia cannot be used in a GPS to find the place! We searched for quite some time trying to find the the hotel after an exhausting day. I drove in pouring rain and traffic for too long using two different GPS with no luck. It was very frustrating! I had to find a place where I could stop and make a direct call to the place. […] The person answering the phone told me no one can get there using a GPS! He gave he a completely different address which is 500 Delaney! We had no problem with that address in the GPS and I wonder why in the world isn't that information given to people who are making reservations at the hotel. The other disappointment was they have cats roaming the halls and the living area. I am very allergic to cats so I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Both problems indicate an unwillingness to correct problems for their guests since this has been a problem before. The staff's comments to the address were, "Yes, we are hidden". The pictures I saw were not what I got. I thought it was a B&B and the pictures showed individual rooms. I got a suite in an old building next to the nice ones. Well my husband and I went there for our anniversary and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had no parking issues and for it being so close to the road we couldn’t hear the traffic. It was very close to the restaurants and shopping centers.
