International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. When checking in, front desk clerk initially did not acknowledge me or the party I was traveling with. Once she did she was less than friendly. During the check in process another employee came from a room behind the front desk. The two of them carried on a conversation in a foreign language while I was standing at the front desk trying to get checked […] in. Absolutely rude and unacceptable. Later we asked if the shuttle service would take us to Universal Studio for one of our business night out gatherings. The clerk said she could call us a cab and to give a 10 minute notice. We did this, but were surprised when the hotel shuttle driver was available and did drive us to Universal, but charged usn$10. Just to let you know we took a cab back to the hotel later that evening the fare was $7.20. The hotel was very noisy all night long. Also at breakfast, which we had apprx. 7:00 am, stations needed to be replenished and cleaned. There was not enough seating in the dining area, so we were sent to a room having a cople of tables, no windows, no tv, no music. It was like sitting in a storage room. I would never stay in this Hampton Inn again. I drove to Florida in recent weeks. On the way I spent the night at the Hampton Inn, in Emporia VA. It was what I expect and normally experience when staying at a Hampton - quality all around. I hope you address these issues. "Close to parks"
It was a great big room with two queen beds and sleeper sofa. It would of been nicer if the mattress were softer. Back a few years ago all Hampton Inns had the same pillow top mattress but of late I am not seeing that. "Hampton Inn International Dr"
I had a meeting scheduled on International Dr and was late to make reservation at that hotel, so I stayed at the Hampton . Happy that I did! The room and service were outstanding ; far superior to that other hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"awesome beds"
very clean, recent decor, the usual reliable Hampton Inn breakfast and very comfortable beds. Large rooms. Plenty of tv channels.
