The hotel overall was ok. The room was not very clean. We were across the street from Universal and very close to the interstate. The breakfast was the norm, waffles, ceral, fruit, and toast. "Across the street from universal studios"
We stayed there because we couldn't check in to our timeshare for one more night. Not too terrible. Breakfast was included and the beds were fine. It was just down the road from Universal Studios. The pool was out of commission.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Close to Universal (you could walk there) and Holy Land (short drive). The area is laid out with hotels in one area, restaurants (Burger King, Friday's, etc.) and stores (Walgreens, souvenirs, groceries, etc.) conveniently close to hotels. Close to I-4. This hotel was half the price of other more "posh" hotels in the area. Free breakfast from 6-9am […] included cereal, toast & toasting machine, waffles you make yourself, apples, coffee, tea, cocoa, apple and orange juice, 2% milk, butter spread, jelly, etc. Small pool. "More than I expected for the money"

"Good for the money"
If I go to Orlando again, I would stay here. With that said, there are some drawbacks: The front desk people didn't know anything about the area. When we asked one guy about how to get to the Walgreens we knew was close by, he said we couldn't walk to a Walgreens and that the nearest one was three miles and that we'd have to drive because if we tried […] to walk we'd get picked up by the police. We decided to walk in the direction we thought Walgreens was, and sure enough there was one a few blocks away. We asked another one about whether we could walk to the nearby outlet mall, and he said he didn't really know. The pool is pretty small, and our shower loudly leaked the whole time. But the location is good, about a mile from Universal, so pretty easily walkable. The room was pretty clean. If you want all the bells and whistles of an expensive hotel, don't bother coming here. But if you're on a budget and want to enjoy the attractions around Orlando, this is the hotel to be in. We read some reviews & were a little worried about cleanliness...it was spotless! Everything from the beds and mirrors, to the bathtub and toilet were cleaned thouroughly. The beds were pretty comfty & all four of my party enjoyed sleeping with the nice cold air. We also chose a room with a fridge and microwave so we wouldn't spend so much money on […] eating out somewhere...speaking of which, they have free breakfast! Everything was fresh & my friend enjoyed the massive waffles you can make yourself. The hotel also has a shuttle that takes you to Universal Orlando, although it's so close you could literally WALK to the theme parks. The hotel is what you expect. Its clean and its close to Universal Studios. The only 2 downsides is that the air conditioning and condition of the rooms is a bit old and the free transport to Universal Studios is only 1 minibus once a day leaving at 8.45am, but a taxi is just $6 so its not the end of the world.
