"Great Location"

"No free internet"
The room was nice, although it was a handicapp upgraded room which was done 1/2 way. The pool was nice and room service was great. We paid for our breakfast in our stay, so glad we did as we paid $20 for 4, and when they bill arrived it was well over $70. It was a fabulous breakfast buffet but $70 was a bit much! "Beware of invitations to the Orange Lake Resort"
The hotel itself is nice and staff are friendly. Parking availability is limited and the biggest drawback of our stay was experienced when we were talked in attending a sales tour of Orange Lake Resort, IHG's timeshare offer. They offer a discount on attractions (such as Universal Studios) in return for attending a so called 90 minute presentation, […] incl. breakfast. We accepted the invitation and upon arrival were separated from our kids who were hosted in a special kids area. What followed was an aggressive sales pitch - inclusive of no less than than 4 different sales gurus pushing to join this scheme which took no less than 3 hours and and only after bitterly complaining about the fact that we wanted to see our kids again, did we manage to "escape". This in my opinion is a 'no brainer' for anyone interested in a trip to Universal and Islands of Adventure. It's a quality facility with clean and comfortable rooms. Very reasonably priced packages are available that include an excellent breakfast in the dining facility where children eat for free. There are no daily parking or entertainment fees to […] pay . average room (1 bed suite as they call it) with no special qualities, could use updating, very noisy a/c system, comfy comfy bed,walls paper thin - could hear tv and chatting next door. located next to store room which was very noisy in the mornings. "crown plaza orlando. Ideal location"
Having stayed in this hotel for 7 nights i can only have the best to say about it. The room we stayed was on the 12th floor. It was very spacious and had the most comfortable queen bed we had ever slept on. The room attendants were excellent and very exact about towels and cleanliness. The food was delightful especially the chicken wings which we ordered […] a few times in chats bar. We were their the weekend of thanks giving so we had to have the turkey dinner in the hotel dining room, it was buffet style so we could have 2nds if we desired.It was excellent. For us the hotel was ideally situated as we like to stay in hotels that are not located in very built up and noisy locations. Our room had a view of the surrounding orlando area and we could see the firework displays at night from the theme parks. For us driving is a must so we tend to choose hotels that have free and adequate parking, and Crown Plaza has exactly that. For those who like shopping, the Premium outlets centre is just 1.5 miles away and florida mall is only 4miles away. We choose fo shop at the premium outlet and it has every store and label you can imagine. Their are numerous top quality restaurants within a short distance , we ate in Perkins for breakfast, 500yds away. Also if you like steaks then you have to try Cattlemans steak house,and Houlihans. the latter offers the best value for money, but both have delicious steaks. O serviço da recepção do hotel é terrivel. Fiz umas encomendas pelo Amazon e antes perguntei ao hotel se poderia envia-las, por e-mail disseram que não teria problema. Quando cheguei, não me entrgaram tudo e disseram que não havia chegado o restante, depois de falar com a Amazon e comprovar com o localizador que as encomendas haviam sido entregues, […] que foram achar meus pacotes. "Perfect stay for visting orlando parks"
We went here for 4 days, and had a fantastic stay. The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to help us during our stay. The breakfast buffet is really top-notch, Pool area is nice, including the hot tub which was really hot. Even if we had long tiring days at the theme parks, we woke up every morning fully relaxed.
