Perfect location for Universal for a great price. Very clean. The free shuttle to Universal took 45 minutes for a 2 minute drive so I would recommend paying the parking fee at Universal. "Extremely accommodating resort area hotel"
After reading several previous reviews, I was somewhat prepared for noisy air conditioning units and unpleasant staff. HOWEVER, I was extremely impressed with this resort area hotel; close and convenient to all area attractions, the room was rather a suite-like with desk, chairs, sofa and a separate sink area outside the bathroom...the room was superb […] and most cozy...no dirt, no dust, plenty of towels; even had decent bathroom lighting..the staff was most helpful with directions and very courteous..my do not disturb was honored to the end and when I acquired late check-out, the reservations manager couldn't have been more accommodating. If there was anything I would complain at all about it would be that once the large parking lot is full; you're screwed..but valet allowed me to park there. I don't usually write reviews but I told the desk clerk that I definitely wanted to review this hotel upon checkout. We are pretty particular and like to feel comfortable when away from home.
