Location. Sheraton Vistana Villages in Orlando, Fla., has an ideal location on International Drive near popular theme parks, shops, restaurants and golf courses. Guests are just one mile from SeaWorld, six miles from Universal Studios and eight miles from Disney World.

Mallory Square Market is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and offers Starbucks coffee and fresh-baked breads and pastries. The market also stocks film, local maps, pharmacy items, magazines, postcards, souvenirs, sun protection products and more. Barbeque grills and picnic tables surrounded by palm trees are on site for guest use. Very nice, cozy villa with all the amenities we needed. Awesome jet bathtub was probably my favorite part of my stay. "For the price, can't be beat"
My only advice is to ask for a room specifically with a patio or balcony, as they seem to put non direct reservation folks into the smaller one bedroom. Once I moved into what I think the site advertised, it was a great place. Fully equipped kitchen, wash/dryer, everything. Jet tub IN the bedroom overlooking the pool, etc. Vistana villages is a quality […] location. The OPTIONAL timeshare tour is available, and was well done, but not mandatory. They did a better job of detailing the program than any I have had before. Pressure was minimal. Pool, restaurant, small well stocked grocery/convenience store, great recreation/exercise equipment for EACH phase of construction, and a ride to Disney or other parks as needed (not all free) round out the "I didn't need a car" weekend. I did not notice if Public transportation came down international drive, but Taxi cabs were in and out all the time. Staff was very helpful and the facility was not run down at all. We didn't know this was a timeshare community upon arrival. They offered us a great gift in exchange for a preview of the property. There was absolutely NO pressure to buy and we even received a 50% off coupon for our next visit! Which we will definitely take advantage of! The room was amazing, clean, huge and a great view! Overall stay was fine for the weekend. However I was offered a "free breakfast" which tunred into a timeshare presentation. That was ok until I saw the rooms they offered for "owners" only. MUCH MUCH nicer than the room they gave me. If they want you to buy a timeshare, it may be more beneficial to allow you to stay in those rooms to get an idea of […] what you are buying. Our second time staying at a Vistana property in Orlando and the second time of being disappointed with them providing the wrong room at check-in. While the room issue was promptly addressed, this time it cost me an upgrade charge. Guess they are consistent in this regard. Overall the property was nice: clean, well landscaped, good gym and pool facilities. […] The building exteriors were pleasant, but the room furnishings were worn and dated. I was surprised that the TV's in the rooms were the old tube style rather than flat screens. Major disappointment was NO WORKING INTERNET in the "Key West" section of the property. When we inquired shortly after check-in, we got the techno-run-around about not logging in to their system correctly. A little later, the truth was revealed that wireless internet was not working in our building. Later that day, the broader truth was revealed that the wireless internet was not working anywhere in the Key West complex. The management response was that they were "working on it". Seven days later when we checked out, there was still no resolution. We were able to use wireless internet in other parts of the property, but not having access in our room or pool area was a big negative for us. Perhaps worse than not having the internet access was the less than truthful responses to the problem and no offers to resolve or accommodate the lack of internet service. This is one of the nicest resorts we stayed at. Was very impressed - it seems like every resort or hotel we stayed at in Florida charged us for vallet parking and also resort fee. "Fantastic Resort"
We were hoping for a nice location and comfortable room and were extremely pleased on arrival to find how large the complex was and how nice and big our room was. The resort facilities were exceptional and we experienced great service. We had a hire car and found the location on I-Drive was central to all our interests.
