Located in a quiet, secluded resort community two miles from the Downtown Disney® area, Grande Villas Resort is less than four miles from SeaWorld, seven miles from Universal Studios, and less than eight miles from Magic Kingdom® Park.
Hotel Features.
This Caribbean-style resort offers a large spa pool and an outdoor pool surrounded by lush landscaping. A 40-foot-high volcano features water slides, and shoots water 20 feet high. A children's pool, fountains, and a playground are available for children. The clubhouse offers wireless Internet access (surcharge), a nine-hole miniature golf course (fees apply), picnic tables, barbecue grills, and a video library. Shuffleboard, basketball, and lighted tennis courts are also available on site. This hotel offers free self-parking and a safe-deposit box at the front desk.
Guestrooms.
All units at the resort offer satellite television, VCRs, stereos, jetted tubs, and wireless Internet access (surcharge). One- and two-bedroom suites feature kitchens with microwave ovens, refrigerators, coffeemakers, cookware and dishes. The units also offer washers and dryers, and separate dining and living areas. The resort provides a mid-week cleaning for stays of four nights or more.

Government-issued photo identification and a credit card are required at check-in for incidental charges.

Located at the main clubhouse is the resort's signature erupting volcano with three slides and a spout that shoots water 20 feet into the air. The resort has multiple children's pools, spa tubs, outdoor freeform pools, and a large and a small pool. Activities include sand volleyball, shuffleboard, tennis, and a 9-hole miniature golf course (surcharge for golf). A large game room off the pool includes pool tables, arcade games, and air hockey. The fitness center overlooks the pool and has stair machines, bikes, treadmills, and free weights. A video library (surcharge) is available.

"Beautiful room with a great location"
The room was clean and well taken care of. The mattress was nice and comfy. We are used to sleeping with the A/C cold and the ceiling fans were an added bonus. "good hotel but mis-informed"
I can't really complain. The hotel was great and so was my room. I would def. stay there again. My only problem was that I was mis informed about the hotel deposit. I booked my room almost 2 months in advance. I called maybe 5 times between the 2 months confirming my reservations and the deposit amount they needed to hold on my card. The times I called […] and I always gave my reservation name and they always told me $50.00. I don't particularly like having money on my card when I go on trips to avoid problems with people stealing identity and such. I'm a cash person. So I put 50 on my card. When I got there at 11 at night , the gentlemen told me it was $100.00 deposit. I informed him I called several times and they always told me $50.00. He said no and to give me the name of the person i spoke with so he could correct them. I never took down names. :-(. But luckily my boyfriend used his card. This facility is part of Diamond Resorts and right after check-in you will be shown where to pick up your "check in gift", which happens to be where they will try to line you up with a presentaion showcasing their other properties...AKA a time share pitch. 2. As this is considered a condo and not […] a hotel, you don't get daily room service like linen changes, OR paper towels, coffee packs, etc. so bring your own toiletries or you'll find yourself looking for the nearest Wal-Mart.
