The prominent Rosen Plaza on International Drive is adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center and near SeaWorld and other Orlando attractions. The I-Ride Trolley stops at the hotel's front door and operates along a six-mile stretch of International Drive, accessing shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Hotel Features.
The Rosen Plaza features a vast, columned lobby, marble floors, and central chandelier. At the center of the hotel is the outdoor splash pool surrounded by towering Florida palms and a spa tub. Overlooking the pool, the Orlando hotel's fitness center features treadmills, four stationary bicycles and free weights. The hotel also features a 24-hour game room, gift shop, pizza place, 24-hour deli, 60,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, audio-visual services, business center, and banquet and catering services. Wireless internet access is available in public areas (complimentary). Although International Drive is packed with restaurants, guests can enjoy the hotel's fine dining at Jack's Place, which specializes in steaks, and Café Matisse's American cuisine and buffets. Guests are provided with complimentary shuttles to Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, and Wet 'n' Wild. Secure self parking and valet parking (surcharges) are available on site. Pets are welcome; some restrictions apply.

"Dont stay here"
Reserved a king size bed and got 2 twin sized beds. Heater in room would not work. Had to pay to park. Asked for extra blsnkets and they were dirty. The ceiling is covered in dust. "wasn't entirely impressed"
The hotel itself is very beautiful. The inside is beautiful as well however there was tape blocking off pool and jacuzzi and unless you actually went outside to look yourself you would have thought it was closed. The jacuzzi jets did not work during our stay however the day we left all tape was taken off and everything was in order. "Pointe Orlando, florida Rosen 9700 International"
We were very disappointed in the service and the hotel this visit. We live in Melbourne and frequent this hotel up to New Years eve and we won't stay there ever again, first off you are now charging for parking for the hotel guests which is horrible. You don't even get a discount on the nightly parking rate, second they gave us a handicap room with […] two full beds, we had to sleep in separate beds as the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and small for two people in one bed. we booked this in October and should have atleast gotten two queen beds being we could not get a king. "clean room, great location, staff needs training"
Our room was on the 13th floor and had a great view of the point. The lobby is clean as well as the entire facility. Our check in was awful. The clerk at the desk was rude, printed a free breakfast certificate and then said "it's FREE- don't you WANT IT? RUDE. I asked how we should go to our room and he said "around" just as unpleasant....15 minutes […] passed and my husband decided to go down to get our luggage, which we left with the valet as we parked. They were just standing at the door engrossed in conversation. My husband said he could handle taking it up on his own and the staff member said "no, we have to" so he followed my husband upstairs. "kill the mood"
When my wife and I checked in around 11pm, the door didn't open to the room. The bolt lock was on from the inside. Waited 10 minutes for securty to open the door who never showed up, I went back to the front desk and requested a room change. "Rosen Plaza = Wonderful!"
Rosen was very helpful in fixing our problem from Thr glitch with our booking. We watched the playoff football game in our room since we were so comfy! "Not clean"
this is the 3rd time staying at this hotel. all 3 x's the room bathroom was not clean. The room attended didn't even change the sheets only made the beds. The price we paid for the Rosen Plaza at 9700 International Drive was less then 2 star hotels in the area. The hotel is centrally located on I-Drive. The hotel was very clean, modern, and full of ammenities. The staff was very helpful and the buffet breakfast was worth the price. WARNING: There is a bus stop across from the Rosen that is shared by the […] I-Drive Trolley and Lynx Bus. The I-Drive Trolley is by every 15 minutes and is $1.75 per person. My wife stepped on to the Lynx by accident and was told it would be a Total of $2 for both of us. I gave the driver a $5 and he placed it into a coin operated meter. When i asked for change he looked disgusted and said, "It don't make change." This scam must be acted out 100s of times a day. If I had given him a $20 it would have been real ugly real quick.
