The staff was friendly. The shuttle was broken down so they were using a car service for trips to the Disney parks. It was a little chaotic, but they were trying to be very accommodating. The kids loved getting slimed!

Very disappointed!! Hotel was run down, construction/remodel going on, poor response to issues, and not worth the money. After being detoured around construction, we found our room..... when we entered the room was NOT clean, faucet in the sink was running and almost overflowing, beds made with sheets from previous guest ( hair in bed, wrinkled sheets) […] Toilet was full of hair and feces, and the room smelled horrible! Called to switch rooms, they said they would call back and never did.... half hour later I called again and they said the bell hop was on his way. We were hungry and tired from our flight and needed dinner. 25 min. later as we were leaving.... we were greated at the elevator and taken to another room. This was cleaner, but... the rugs were damp from being cleaned, the sink exploded water at us whenever turned on, and the shower ran dark brown water for 10 minutes before we could get clear water to shower with. The pool and water park were NEVER open the almost 2 days we were there. Do your homework before following these ratings!! I will NOT stay at the Nickelodeon Resort, again. It was overpriced including food. The total tab was $200.00, which $50.00 was resort fees and I paid an additional $25.00 for an upgrade. The pools are wonderful but the rooms, while clean need some updates. The furniture has seen much better days. The hard sell on time shares by the staff at the guest services desk that you needed to use for passes etc. was a major turn off. Overall the kids were thrilled but the adults were less so.

This is the second year in a row we stayed here. Last year was just 2 days but he kids loved it so much we went back. Great for the kids, a bit loud for adults. Not a huge food selection and the quality of the food is a little below mid range but the pricing for the food was ok for an Orlando hotel. Used the free shuttle service quite a few times. Our documentation indicated check in was 4pm. At Arrival, waited in line for an hour, and were told that we would receive a text when our room was available. This was already 4pm, she promptly replied, "that is not a guaranteed check in time". Asked if they could give me an estimated time as to when the room would be available. They could not, so we […] got our swim suits, went to the public bathroom to change, got to the overcrowded pool, THEN received the text that our room was ready. Our room was in building 2, close to the smaller pool. The room stunk, not typical musty, wet, swim suit smell, it smelled like a rotten refrigerator. The 2 twin bets were gross and they squeaked, the queen in the master sunk in the middle. I did not complain or ask for a new room, because I knew there was nothing else available. Housekeeping was hit and miss, they didn’t leave coffee or coffee cups, they would leave towels with no wash cloths, and one day they didn't make it to the room until 6pm. Yet on check out day when you get until 11 to leave, they sure did stop by every 10 minutes starting at 9am to see if we were gone. We enjoyed the smaller pool, except for the horrible fact that it was a crowded spring break and our pool closed at 6pm. Parking was a mess too, there was never enough parking by our building, and we constantly had to park on the opposite side of the resort and walk to our room. Read more

The stay was during a very busy Easter week. The Hotel staff is very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. However, the hotel was way overbooked. There had to have been too many people staying in each room becasue the staff couold not keep up with keeping the place clean. The sofa bed was really just a bag of rocks on squeaky springs and not comfortable for the one adult. TERRIBLE! There was not shower curtain. The hotel is really overpriced. You pay for EVERY event, each ammenity; a very high cost. We had the character buffet dinner and it was outrages per adult and a charge for one child and the 3 and 10 month old […] were free. 3 adults and 3 children cost us a big amount because there was an added huge gratuity for parties of 6 or more. Pools were great. Buffets were horrible. Character buffet was fun for the kids the food just ok. Cheaper buffet across the food court was horrible. Terrible quality with rotten fruit, stale muffins and bagels. You felt as though you were part of the money machine. Anything and everything had a price tag. The two bedroom suite we booked was VERY SMALL. All rooms were located outside like a motel, not a hotel. The TV in the bunk bed room was an older tube TV and did not have a remote, the room did not even have a door. The bathroom was very small. The main room was so small when you folded out the couch to a bed there wasn't any walking room. You had […] to climb over it to get to the door to leave the room. 1. We arrived and the front desk agent pushed a so called upgraded themed room on us. 2. Parking staff charged my grandfather $20 to park for 25 minutes. 3. Upgraded room was dirty and bathroom was filthy and no where near the pool on a cold day which made no difference 4. In June we will go back to the blue green resort and stay the whole trip. Female manager told me that Her staff pushed the extra cost down our throats and we agreed to pay for a room that had no view and isolated from everything and everyone on a cold day because of a mural on the kids wall. We had to clean the bath tub ourselves to give the kids baths before housekeeping actually showed up. Your hotel knows that the room was the worst you had and they chose us as the candidates..thanks again for a miserable first and last visit. This is the worst hotel we ever stayed in. I thought to stay at an interesting hotel for my kids, who had their winter break cut short because of Hurricane Sandy. I figured to stay at Nickelodeon to make it fun for them, It was the worst decision that I have ever made. they would not let me and my kids check in because the name of the reservations was […] under my husband. I had to have a fax sent to them from my husband saying it was ok for us to check in. the room was not ready when we got there. we up-graded for extra $25 a room a night to be facing the pool. When we got back from the park, we went to check into our rooms, and they were facing the parking lot, even though we got an email that stated we have a pool facing room. after fighting with management we finally got a pool facing room. The room stunk. It smelled like mildew and dirty socks. my 13 year old could not use the pool with out an adult with him, even though there were 2 or 3 life guards. the pool opened late and closed early, the slides opened even later and closed earlier then the pool. The movie that they showed at the hotel does not include in the price of the overpriced hotel or the $30 service charge We found out that they charge $30 a day per room for activities that they do, even though we did not use them or went to see the double dare shows. We were in a "suite" which would seem a very liberal interpretation of the word. Property is somewhat disheveled at this point. Worse, despite ostensibly being a hotel catering to children, the hotel had an overwhelming contingent of revelers present throughout the weekend. I took my sons there for a little weekend family getaway and was a bit disappointed by how little I got for as much as I paid. The fridge in our room leaked so the carpet was soaked. Maint. came out and moved the fridge out but never cleaned the carpet. By end of Day 2 our room smelled of mildew. The tub was dirty and the bathroom floor wasn't cleaned […] (I know this because I found a used contact lens on the floor and I don't wear them). The suite was small and it seems like you had to pay for EVERYTHING. In order to stay in a Spongebob room you had to pay extra (really?!). The boys had a blast in the waterpark and pool which is all that really matters. Except I didn't appreciate overhearing a couple of the lifeguards making fun of some of the guests and how they looked in their swimming apparel. is the best hotel in Orlando if you have kids. My kids loved it. The beds are comfortable the room was clean and the TV had lots of channels for the kids. The water slides and pools provide hours of fun and the food by the pool was good and well priced ($3.50 for chicken nuggets and fries). My son got to meet Blue, Pablo and the Ninja Turtles. They […] have shows going on games at the pool, you can get slimed and pied. Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. Great location if you need something. The arcade doesn't cost too much to win prizes. They have transportation to the parks and a store inside the mall. The mall is really cool they have a kids spa, the gift store where you can get just about anything you may need, the arcade, pizza restaurant, subway, Starbucks, buffet restaurant and a regular dining in restaurant and a bar. They have lots of seating and a wifi area with computers. The nick studio is in here and the movie theater. make it a priority to spend time at the hotel or you will be sorry you missed out on all of this. We made a trip just out of being in the hotel and had a blast. 3pm check in time we checked in at noon (got there earlier then anticipated) they checked us in and then we went to the arcade. They texted us when our room was ready which was about an hour later and we picked up our keys at guest services right next to the arcade. Really great service. Read more
