Let me say from the start of this review that Embassy Suites is my hotel brand of choice. Their quality, comfort & attention to their property conditions is second to none. I am mostly a business traveler & value what Embassy offers because I know what I'm getting & trust that its consistent from property to property. That being said, this property […] is a high quality, well maintained & excellent place to stay. I would not stay here again on business travel. It's awesome for leisure travel. Given the location, I should have known it'd be full of leisure travelers. Indeed, my stay saw several student groups, many families but very few business travelers. Breakfast was crowded & very slow due to the quantity of students. Same for having to wait a long-time on the elevators due to the quantity of students & large families. Again, if were traveling in this area & on leisure travel then I'd not hesitate to stay at this Embassy. If I'm on business then I'd chose a different Embassy. Thanks Read more

We stayed for two nights to go to Universal studios. We like the fact that we could get there without dealing with the I4 traffic. The hotel is in a quiet location and is safe. The room was comfortable, with the mini kitchen area. It allowed us to reheat our restaurant leftover food at a layer meal. It has a laptop compatible safe, although the one […] in our room was not functional. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable and a cost saver for a family sized group. The only down side was that the pancake was flat and non fluffy, and they only served bacon at a later time. Not good for early risers. Overall, I give this hotel a 4/5. This Embassy Suites is adVertised as a resort. There were no activities or amenities other than an outdoor pool. The hotel restaurant served sandwiches or pizza. No full service restaurant on premises. No other restaurants within walking distance. The concierge is only able to assist with Disney tickets. The first room had sink and tub drain problems, the TV in the bed room did not work, The entire AC system was right outside the window in the bed room & could not sleep. The second room had only sink drain issue which was repaired. The 5:30 AM fire alarm was not welcome. Apparently a short in the alarm not a fire. Well let's start with the notion that you are at the east coast tourist zoo known as Disney. The area is the Gotham City of Hotels, big box restaurants, tourist shopping, and ridiculous traffic (unless you venture out after 9pm and before Disney opens the gates). I was there for a conference that got run over by spring breakers, so you can imagine the lines at breakfast! All of that said, the rate was great and the room nice and quiet (which was surprising given all the kids). Better have your own car as the location is slightly ( relative to the area) off the beaten path but actually that can be a good thing because you can take some back roads to avoid the rush hours. I was in Orlando for a business/pleasure trip, and this hotel was a great choice. The entire staff was A1 throughout the hotel. In the morning the home cooked breakfast was amazing, prepared by a cook that was very friendly making everyone in line laugh all week! I was actually sad to leave after the great breakfast, and let's not forget the managers […] happy hour every night with ice coldbeerx sangria, wine, mixed drinks, fresh popcorn, chips, dip, and some of the best bar staff in Orlando. It was located in the extended/new part of LBV and not on Hotel Blvd. This however did not become a problem since it was only minutes to my conference area. Hotel staff was great. They were friendly and accomadating. Definitely would stay again.

The staff is fantastic, the shuttle to Disneyworld was often late for the late morning departure, but the serenity is great. There's no heavy traffic nearby and the food is good. Ed the Cook should have his own television program.

The staff was great, the hotel manager remembers your name and the cook named Eddie was great. As you went to his station he would "assign" you a name and call you that name your entire stay (if you don't have a sense of humor don't go). I found it to be good natured fun. This was a nice hotel. Stayed there for a business trip, but my husband stayed over a night with me while I was there as well. I've stayed at several Embassy Suites in the past and this was not the typical higher quality, state of the art hotel that I was used to staying in when I book with them. Simply can't go wrong with Embassy Suites. Great breakfast as you like, inclusive, Internet in room as opposed to common areas. Taxis always available and nearby. Suites are suites unlike other hotels that claim all rooms are suites.
