"Nice place"
We stayed here for 3 days for our Disney vacation and liked it. There were a few little quirks, no towels and a leaky faucet, but they took care of that right away! It is an older hotel, but the rooms were a good size, and there was a balcony, but it looked onto the roof. "No towels and musty room smell"
The room smelled very musty and was almost unbearable when we entered the room. Since we were tired and needed to get some sleep, we just dealt with it. "Decent stay for an overnight."
We stayed here for an overnight stay. We were able to check in way early - which was a plus for us. The check in staff was awesome to me and my family!! We were given a handicap room though so the bathroom was oddly placed, but had plenty of room for a wheelchair. My family did not enjoy the pool even though it had a waterslide that called to you, the […] pool was filled with bugs, so much so that it made swimming unenjoyable. The hot breakfast was really good especially the hot cinnamon rolls. The one thing that was odd was there is an abandoned hotel/office space next door to this hotel so it made it feel like it was in a bad part of town as some of the windows were broken and such. They messed up my reservation. I booked a room with two queen size beds but they gave us a room with one king, which will not work with us as we have two kids. Somewhat of a disappointment...we stayed there three years ago and loved it--clean rooms, newly renovated, heated pool with slide, breakfast and a reasonably priced lobby store. Three years later the hotel is significantly run down. We had a balcony door that wouldn't lock, a shower that flooded the entire bathroom, a bathroom light that flickered so […] bad you couldn't stand to have it on, the room smelled musty and the heater in the pool and hot tub was broken the entire time we were there. Breakfast was good and the place was acceptable at the price we paid, but it took an entire day to get the light fixed and the front desk staff didn't seem to care that we were unsatisfied. I booked 2 queen beds and Upon check-in they gave me a queen and a queen pull out sofabed which is more like a full size bed. They were over booked and couldnt accomodate me said they would see if they could try to get me another room for day 2 or 3. I reported the issue to the front desk and after a while they sent someone down to check on things but by that time it was too late for us to enjoy the pool. "What I'd expect from a Holiday Inn"
We were just making a quick weekend trip to a theme park and needed somewhere to sleep. I specifically picked this out because the pictures of the pool looked great. They were deceiving! While the kids enjoyed the pool, which has a slide, it is no bigger than a normal sized home pool. The pictures on the site make it look huge. It is not! "Lacking in Customer Service"
Hotel room and area was great, they had a nice small pool with waterslide and hot tub. Unfortunately they didn't clean the pool, slide, or hot tub on a regular basis and the hours posted for the slide and not the hours they follow. Our room was good as previously mentioned, except the bathroom wasn't setup well. The door wouldn't open fully as the […] toilet stopped it (looks like the toilet was changed after the room was designed and the bowl was too low and long to fit properly in the room). Customer Service: Housekeeping wouldn't leave soap or other toiletries unless a tip was left, and didn't replace towels when requested. Front Desk: When checking in, we were met with real hostility from the check in clerk, for no apparent reason. When checking out we were asked "how was your stay" when we tried t respond the check out clerk simply walked away from us. Luckily we met one lovely woman who worked the desk adn recommended a pizza take out place (Flippers) since it was a long day and we just wanted to kick back and eat dinner in our room then crash. Overall we would stay here again, but would know what to expect.
