Orlando Vista Hotel

Hotel is dated and the room was not very clean. The breakfast consisted of cold SUPER dry pancakes, hard boiled eggs and some stale muffins. There was not any fruit, and definitely NO meat. There was an empty bowl where yogurt was supposed to be. When I asked about it a snarky hotel employee actually laughed at me over it.

I had a surprise at check in, there was a $1.60 charge per day for the safe in the room , didnt matter if you used it or not !! There was NO AC running in the corridors, which were very stuffy especially when waiting for the elevator. Also the breakfast staff were not at all pleasant, or helpful.. Overall my exp here was good but could have been better, I had to switch rooms when I got there because of water damage in the room and also the shuttle bus they have goes to 4-6 hotels before it heads out to the disney parks so even tho the hotel is very close to the theme parks it will take you over 45 mins to get to them so your better off driving […] your own vehicle to the parks. Overall this was a good hotel. Comfortable room...good amenities...great location with many restaurants and shops in walking distance. The entrance of the hotel was nice! However the rooms were very old! They were clean... But had rust and wall paper was coming off slightly and the carpet was also coming up. I was staying at the Vista before heading to the keys and stayed for two nights. The hotel is in an excellent location just minutes from Celebration and the Disney complex. This is not a hotel for business travelers! Beware, it is a madhouse of people from Latin America running around in their flip flops and shorts. Breakfast that is included is an absolute joke and almost a boxing match. For family vacationers on an extreme budget, ok, but this hotel for any one else will be a major disappointment.

We stayed here for a night before our visit to Disney and booked this hotel given the proximity to DW. We did not make use of the shuttle service as the timings did not suit us. The hotel room was clean and we had a comfortable stay. The complimentary breakfast is good.

The carpet was wrinkled to the point where tripping over it was a concern. There were also so many stains on it that you might want to keep your shoes on when walking on it. The shower had cracks and a broken drain. There was mold in the tiles and a film of brown mold/sludge in the corners on the ceiling above the shower and some of this dripping down […] the walls.The water pressure was pretty much the worst I've ever experienced. The bed's seemed clean. The lobby of the hotel was very misleading as it looked very clean and well maintained, unlike their rooms (or at least the room I stayed in). When you got out the elevators, to your floor, it was clear that the first floor/lobby received better care than the rest. Finally, after getting home I notice a charge on my card for $3.20 from this hotel directly (not Expedia), while small, its still annoying. I wasn't told about an extra charge or anything, they just did it without notification. Hopefully they'll use it to buy some bleach and actually clean that shower. Read more

Outdated. Hair dryer was placed inconveniently where your arms hit it on the wall each time you are in front of the sink/mirror. Breakfast food needs improvement. Staff were not helpful at all when my cellphone was stolen.

The hotel was overall nice and affordable. The only issue I had was the fact the breakfast did not offer anything warm to eat or fruit. It was a bunch of bread and cereal and some cold hard boiled eggs. But, I can't complain I have seen worse hotels and hotels that don't offer any complimentary breakfast.

I reccomend this hotel. Its clean, very well location, many restaurants, shoppings and attraction near it. The breakfast served is very good. The staff is friendly, there is plenty of parking. free Schufles to the parks and tickets sale is available. The beds and pillows are so confortable.

Location was excellent - be careful of hidden fees charged by the hotel that they don't disclose as they charge $1.60/day for safe fee - never asked for a safe, didn't use the safe and still was obligated to pay the fee. Not happy about that.

This little hotel did really surprise me. I was looking for an inexpensive room for a few nights while I treated myself to a few days in the land of "Mouse". Quiet, easy access to most, if not all of the parks as well as Orlando itself. A really nice little stay.

Hotel staff was very accommodating. Our first room had a light that did not work and issues with key card. Staff immediately provided another room. Called to notify staff of late arrival and they were extremely understanding and accepted late arrival. Beds were decent and room was clean. After staying in a WDWR was a little spoiled but overall hotel was ok. Breakfast was what you would expect cereal, water downed OJ, toast. The door had a 1" gap between the bottom of the door and the floor, everyone talking could be heard, light was coming through when the lights were off. The room had an "odor".
