International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. The I-Ride trolley (really a bus) stops frequently along the street. At the north end of International Drive are two shopping meccas: Prime Outlets-Orlando and The Mall at Millenia.

"Clean rooms, great location, better than expected"
Just back from 2 weeks stay. Don’t get discouraged by the outside appearance or by the old, smelly elevator. Is not a new hotel but the rooms where very clean. Furniture and carpets looks new and it has the best location of any hotel in the I-Drive strip. Toilets in the 3th floor use a pressure system to force drainage that caused some problems and […] needed some adjustment for the flush to work. Water pressure in top floor is also low. After changing our room to the first floor we had no problem. Third floor have more movie channels available, whereas the first floor room only had local programs. I guess they use different sources for TV programing. A/C looked new and works very well. Showers are renovated, it was clean and water pressure was good, so was water heating. The 2 double beds where clean and comfortable. Bedding and room décor also looked very nice. Staff was attentive and courteous. Some reviewers comment about the sounds of traffic and entertainment on the street impeding a good sleep, but honestly, there is no way you can hear the traffic at 200 feet, with closed door, the a/c on, and a few brick walls in-between . We were driving to Cape Canaveral and didn't want to have to get up really early for a 3 hour drive, so we decided to spend the night before in a hotel.
