Located on International Drive, the 42-acre Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive stands 1.6 kilometers (1 mile) from the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Wet 'n Wild water park is located less than 1 kilometer (a half-mile) away.
Resort Features.
This secluded resort is surrounded by landscaped grounds laced with ponds, fountains, and gardens. Gatorville poolside bar serves specialty cocktails and light fare. Scream's Ice Cream Parlor features hand-dipped cones, malts, milkshakes, and sundaes. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby for a fee. A complimentary, 24-hour fitness center houses cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, yoga balls, and free weights. The health club contains a sauna and steam rooms, and offers massage treatments for a fee. Three year-round outdoor pools including one children's pool, and two spa tubs are on site. Children's amenities include pool games, a playground, and seasonal fun such as Easter-egg hunts.

This 2-story property includes exterior-corridor rooms without balconies and interior-corridor rooms with balconies. Beds feature 250-thread count sheets, and sea-green accent pillows and throws. Florida Fun Suites include bunk beds and children's play tables. Bathrooms are stocked with Bath & Body Works toiletries. Wolfgang Puck coffeemakers are included in all accommodations. Refrigerators are included in select rooms and are available in other accommodations upon request, for a fee. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee.

Gatorville - Evoking a Jimmy Buffett feel, this poolside bar serves specialty cocktails and light fare, including chicken enchiladas, pizza, burgers, and Cuban sandwiches. Open for lunch and dinner.
Market Deli - A popular spot for Starbucks coffee, pastries, juices, sandwiches, and soft drinks. Open from early morning until early evening.
Scream's Ice Cream Parlor - This 1930s-style ice cream parlor features hand-dipped cones, malts, milk shakes, and sundaes. Open from early morning until late evening.
This family-friendly resort has three outdoor pools, including one children's pool, hot tub, and a playground. Other options include pool and Ping Pong tables and shuffleboard. The fitness center includes stationary bikes, treadmills, stair machines, free weights, strength-training equipment, saunas, and steam rooms (complimentary).
Designed by Rees Jones, the 18-hole, par-72 course at Falcon's Fire Golf Club is 12 miles from the resort.

"Worst Experience"
When booking my hotel through Hotel.Com I was drawn to the Wyndham becuase of my great experience with the Wyndham in Jacksonville, Florida. When I arrived to the hotel the location and outside appearance of the hotel was great. The guest services staff were very friendly. But when I finally got to my room, I was very dissatified. The room smelled, […] the furniture was out dated, the bathroom was unbareable. I was instantly unset and ready to pack my things and return home. When I pay over $100 for a room, I expect the room to at least be comfortable enough for one night. Without a doubt I went to the front desk to complain and the guest services clerk then mentioned she had a newly renovated room that I could take a look at before deciding to get a refund. After driving around the parking lot for 20mins due to the lack of parking spaces,I finally entered the the newly renovated room. This room was exactly what I paid for but why did I have to complain to recieve the stay I was expecting all along? This was much of a headache and it has defintely changed my mind about choosing the Wyndham for my next Orlando trip. I would rather recieve a quality room when I arrive not after I complain. "Room was not up to par for a 'resort'"
Every towel in our room, both days, was stained or dirty. The bathroom, the tub in particular, was very dirty and the water didnt drain well. Shower for 10 mins and you were ankle deep in water. Tried to call the front desk and was blown off, they told me it would be awhile until it could be seen to due to more pertinant issues. Not worthy of 'resort' […] in the name. The room was very clean but there was a horrible smell in the hallway. We did ask to be moved the second night and the hotel accommodated us. We were disappointed that the WiFi was not free! Sometimes I like to go to orlando for the weekend and have fun with friends. This is a perfect place to stay on the weekend. Location Is perfect. Close to all the fun areas, mall, outlets, and clubs. "Dirty Dirty Dump water hotel"
Room smelled like mildew, bathroom faucet leaked the whole time, mildew stains on walls, stained bed sheets, hotel grounds looked like a war zone, the water in the lakes looked brown. Had a friend stay 2 doors down and their room was not any better. "Don't Expect Much"

"Worst hotel stay ever!"
The stay at this hotel was mediocre to poor. The initial check-in was in one building then you are sent off to look for your hotel in another building. When we found the building the hallway is hot, sticky and smelly! When room service came to clean the hotel room...they didn't even clean! We left for day of outing at 9:30ish am when we came back the […] trash was still in the trash, the pillows were placed into a cabinet leaving only 2 out of 5 and the bed wasn't even fixed properly. They basically pulled the cover up to the tip of the bed and left it there. They didn't even bother tucking it in like it was done when we had arrived. On the other hand, there was a sauna and steam room that was superb! Don't bother using the gym - the cardio machines don't power on so you can't control the intervals, speed, ect. "Worst room I have ever stayed in!"
The resort is gorgeous but the rooms are very out dated. Our bathroom door didnt latch or lock, The phone next to the bed rings but the handset doesnt work, the light outside of the bathroom didnt work leaving half of the room in darkness, all but a few buttons on the remote for the tv didnt work. The hotel concierge ( the ones who sell discount park […] tickets ) were calling the room at 8:30 and 9:30 in the morning waking us up and when we picked up there was no one on the other end but some how was able to leave a message with their little jingle. "Getaway gone wrong"
I always stay at Wyndham Resorts and have never had a problem until now. The location was perfect to the places we were visiting but the building was not. The building I was in at the hotel was under construction and the construction workers started at 7:30AM every day!! The bathtub had water under it, when you stepped into the tub it moved in a wave […] because of the water underneath it. When we returned in the afternoon the bathroom floor was covered in dirt that had been knocked out if the air vent from the workers banging on the roof. Parking was a joke the entire parking lot for the building was roped off for construction with barely any construction equipment in it. In the room we pulled out the sofa sleeper and it was disgusting it looked like it had not been cleaned in months and was never cleaned behind the couch. "Decent for price"
Overall the stay was pleasant. The staff was nice and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I enjoyed being close to various places to eat, the malls, and tourist attractions. It also only took 20min to get to the hotel from the airport. My complaints would be that housekeeping should be mindful of those areas in the corners and behind doors. […] I had a few little dust spiders and other little insects behind the bathroom door. Also the hot water in the shower was nonexistent. That must have been the coldest shower I have taken in years!!! The water in the sink was steaming. I also wish the "resort fee" was quoted in the price or even noted somewhere in the other category. One would assume the room rate would mean that you can use the hotel amenities without an additional charge. For the most part, I would stay at the hotel again. "Where Am I Again"
Overall I was very satisfied with my stay. Location and setting of resort was more than I expected, I was very impressed that I did not have to leave the hotel if I didn't need to with the amount of things to do, such as the bar, dinning, ice cream shop, pools etc. Room was very clean and atmosphere was relaxing.
