"College visit"
Not at all pleased with the room rate provided by Hotels.com of $125 + tax, which supposedly included our AARP discount for a room which otherwise would not have been rented. Had to wake the desk attendant upon our arrival. The following evening we stayed at a Hampton Inn in Asheboro, NC, about 1 1/2 hours away for $79 + tax, but with AARP discount, […] paid a total of $79.64, a $60+ difference. "H I - Laurinburg - nice but smelled of cigarettes"
The overall room was nice, but the hallways and room smelled horrible of cold igarette smoke! The carpets must be removed and replaced in order to make the area designated non-smoking to not smell.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
