"Nice hotel but not much near the hotel"
I had to stay in Buffalo for a week for my job and this was the cheapest hotel I could find in the Buffalo area. The hotel itself is along lake Erie but it is across the road and there are old abandoned warehouses across the street meaning you can’t really see the lake. There are no nearby restaurants (meaning within walking distance) and there is not […] really a neighborhood feel to the place. It sits as a lone sentinel near Lake Erie. If you look hard enough there is a mall and shopping area about five miles away with a lot of different food places and entertainment. The hotel itself is very nice. It is also new, built in 2007. It has a pool but I did not get to partake in that. The rooms were clean and very nice and it had a refrigerator and microwave in it. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. The staff were friendly and the area is quiet. Breakfast is a bit above the norm and includes a waffle maker. There are other standard breakfast options like cereal, muffins, toast etc. The breakfast area was always crowded and I ended up eating it in my room every day except once. For the size of the hotel there are not enough tables to sit everyone at breakfast.
