The Cortona is a clean basic room fairly close to Disneyland and at a good price. The room was clean and had all the basics. Hotel Staff was okay. Front Desk clerks twice made me wait for service while they were working on paperwork and seemed a little annoyed that I was bothering them with wanting to check in/out while they were doing paperwork. And […] being greated with "hey man, what's up" instead of "Hi can I help you?" was a little weird too. The biggest complaint about this hotel was that the walls were paper thin. I could very clearly hear the room next door and their TV. So if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Free wi-fi was very unstable. The hotel was certainly NOT as good as it looks. We had ants in our room, blood stains on some of the sheets, and the beds were not comfortable. The customer service was average and while I was not overly upset at it, I was not impressed with it either. Although in a good location, find a different hotel!!!

We stayed in Room 314. It was right next to the maid/cleaning facilities room. Bright light on outside our room all night. And, the maids were in the facilities/laundry room very early in the morning. Very noisey.

Stayed recently and found the room to be basic and clean. Small pillows and freezer in the in-room fridge did not work at all. The ART bus stops right in front of the hotel and is just 2 stops away from Disneyland so if you don't require alot of extras and just want a basic clean room, I would recommend this hotel. I planned on having a party with a few friends at this hotel. I saw an advertisement for a family suite that slept 8. My assumption of a family suite is one large suite with two separate rooms and a living room. I got two separate standard rooms connected by a door. This is no way was a suite. It was two separate small rooms with no room to interact. […] When I asked the people at the front desk they commented that Hotels.com has the right to describe the rooms as they wish. I was very pleased with my recent stay. The distance to Disneyland was an easy walk but the shuttle is available if preferred. Everything was great during our stay. We only stayed one night and since all the other king rooms were taken, they upgraded us to the spa suite. Front desk was nice and quick. The hotel is set back from Harbor Blvd. so we didn't have to deal with any noisy or any thing. Our room was in the corner so we didn't have to hear any kids running down the corridors […] or heavy walking or anything. The room was clean and spacious. If there were four of us sharing a room I would say it would be well enough room. Few of the things I didn't really like was that even though they gave us a surplus of pillows, they felt as if rocks were in them. I woke up with a stiff and sore neck. Also, they do have black out drapes but only the length of the window so the sun still came through the bottom and sides. I wanted to sleep in and couldn't because of that. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were spotless. I didn't hear much noise at all, even with BlizzCon in town. The customer service was awesome. I especially appreciated that they had elevators so I didn't have to haul my luggage up three flights of stairs. The laundry service and available self laundry was great too. Not as close to Disneyland as we expected. We still had to drive. The hotel is alright, nothing special. Fridge made so much noise we had to unplug it. Water pressure in the shower was so bad it turned a 5 minute shower into 20 minutes. The mattresses were very old and basic, and I actually put my knee directly into a spring as I climbed in bed and […] got a nice bruise. Lighting in the room was really good, especially by the mirrors. There was a nice free breakfast and parking was also free. Not a bad place overall but I probably wouldn't stay there again. This hotel isn't far from the park. I did have two small disappointments though. The free WiFi was very slow, so slow that I just didn't bother with it after a few tries. The hotel also advertises that there is a shuttle to and from the park. It should mention that it isn't a private shuttle. The shuttle services many hotels and is ran by the city so […] there is a small fee to ride it. Because there are so many buses all over the place that was a little confusing. this hotel was booked to go to disney land the hotel was very loud the upstairs shower was so loud it woke us up, the pull out mattress in the siena suite was very thin killed my back, wasnt happy with the room, a plus it was clean but very loud and took use 15 min to walk to the park, wont stay here again.

Affordable with a convenient location. Older which is reflected in the price. Rooms would be much improved if only an air fresheners were installed. (Musty odor) Cleaning service cart made it difficult to sleep past 8 am due to the noise of their carts. Overall good enough for a one night stay on a limited budget.

I picked this hotel for the price and the location to Disneyland. Overall the hotel was nice but the service was terrible. When we first checked in they gave us a room that stunk horribly so we requested a new room and they said it wouldn't be a problem but they kept delaying the room an hour so we asked if we could visit the park and check in when […] we got back they told us that would be fine but when we returned they had no record of this. Finally after 15 minutes they gave us a suite, their last room. Another problem we had was with the Disneyland tickets. We decided to buy them at the hotel because they had them advertised for a lower price on the website and when shown this the hotel staff just said well that is why we have a disclaimer at the bottom and they charged us the full price. The rooms were very clean and the outside of the hotel was very pretty and well designed. The bed was uncomfortable but after a long day at Disney we didnt really notice. The walk isnt too far but if you plan on making multiple trips back and forth it will get exhausting. Though the hotel says that there is a Disney shuttle every 30 minutes we never […] saw one. On two different days we waited for over an hour and nothing showed up. The location is also close to a 24 hour Subway and 7 eleven which was great after being at the park all day. We chose this hotel due to the close proximity to Disneyland as well as the good price we found on hotels.com. The room was clean, well kept, and we had no qualms whatsoever with it. The only downside I could see is that, with the rooms opening to the outside cement walkway, the maid carts were a little noisy, but it didn't bother us because we were […] already up early to be able to get to the Disneyland parks by opening at 9am. As I mentioned, we picked this hotel so we would be close enough to Disneyland to walk and not have to pay to park 2 cars that our group came in. The walk was about 20 minutes or so and wasn't too bad at the start of the day, but at the end of a full 14-hour day at the park, the walk back to the hotel was pretty tiresome! In the future I think we might look for a closer hotel, especially if we were to go for more than 1 day, but that said, for a 1-day ticket the walk was bearable. The last thing I'll mention is the continental breakfast. From the description on hotels.com, we expected a full warm breakfast with do-it-yourself waffles and the like, but were slightly disappointed that the waffles were more or less generic eggos we had to toast. The options were a little limited, but certainly not bad for a free breakfast. Plus, there's always plenty of food at the parks! All in all good experience. My girlfriend and I were in town for a convention so we thought staying nearby would be smart. We are avid Disney goers and normally stay on Harbor across from the entrance to Disney. This hotel was very close and an easy walk to the convention centre, so if that is what you're in town for it's fine. However, it's a good hike to the parks so I would […] recommend staying closer if that's your destination. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet and well kept, and the staff was friendly. My biggest complaint about the location is that there aren't many supporting shops locating on or within easy reach of the hotel. My girlfriend and I tend to stay out late or until the parks close and we sometimes like to grab a snack or drink on the way to the room. We had to walk 2-3 blocks to the nearest convenience store. That would be my biggest complaint- this place feels a little secluded from anything else unless you're strictly here to go to the convention centre. My stay at the Cortona Inn was to be close to the Disneyland parks. We wanted a place that was in walking distance to the park or had a shuttle, complementary breakfast in the morning, and free parking. The Cortona has a late check in time of 3:00pm so of course we arrived much earlier and I was worried that this would create an issue with parking. […] I was kind of surprised that they allowed me to do a pre check-sin and gave us a free parking pass to stay in the lot. It was about a 15min walk to the front gate of the park (you cross two very large intersections). There is also the option of catching a shuttle bus near the front entrance (I think it cost $4). At actual check in there were no problems, the room was clean and comfortable. I especially like bathrooms with a door between the Shower/toilet and the sink area. The was a small fridge and microwave in the room and a decent sized tv. My only complaint was that our shower did not have cold water so it was extremely hot, but I'm sure this isn't true for every room as its not very safe for children. The Breakfast in the morning was not the most impressive (I'd skip Dennys for it but not IHOP). Doughnuts and Muffins, toast, toaster waffles and batter waffles w/Iron, the bacon and egss you'd see on a McDonalds sandwhich, and of course juice, tea, and coffee. Close to Disneyland, Good size family rooms, sleeps 6, with 2 TVs. Plenty of parking. Adequate breakfast, pool must be good as there was always kids in it after Disneyland. Staff were eager to assist.
