the stay started out pretty good but than our toilet decided to start pouring out water all over the floor while we where watching tv. we called and they came got it to stop than didn't clean up after the toilet. they just left it to us to clean their broken toilet

Room was just ok. Not any nicer than a motel 6, just more expensive. Bed had a broken spring I had to lay on all night. Continental breakfast not too bad. I would stay at the red lion or elsewhere next visit.

I was really excited from the pictures and was really looking forward to my stay with my bf when we visited Anaheim to attend the Wondercon convention for his birthday. They were doing construction at the time we visited, which was too bad and I was afraid to move my car because I would have lost my parking spot, so exploring was definitely not possible […] outside of walking distance. I am a heavy sleeper (tend to sleep through earthquakes since moving to CA), but probably got 4+ hours of sleep due to people talking loudly (more like yelling) outside my room and kids stomping above me. Breakfast was disappointing as choices were few and far between. For the price of the room, I admit I expected more for what I paid. It was really nice having a refrigerator and microwave in my room, but the shampoo really dried out my hair and there was no conditioner. I came to this hotel hoping I'd have fun and get a good nights rest. sad to say, I had fun, but no sleep. Read more

The Internet was offered but depending where you are located you will not be able to receive a signal. Also the hotel seems to be outdated to be so close to Disneyland and other major hotels I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who what's to enjoy there stay in Anaheim with their family but if you are look for quick fix this hotel will do it.

The hotel was certainly NOT as good as it looks. We had ants in our room, blood stains on some of the sheets, and the beds were not comfortable. The customer service was average and while I was not overly upset at it, I was not impressed with it either. Although in a good location, find a different hotel!!!

Don't let the pictures full you! Inn? Suite? It's a motel! The continental breakfast offered a lot of prefrozen processed food and coffee that tasted like mud. The maid did not clean up our room on the second day and we did not return until 2 pm which is plenty of time to clean a room and on the first day they didn't even vacuum or pick up some of the […] minammal garbage lying around (i.e. tipped over plastic cup by the sink). While I am glad to see that these rooms are availble for those who need them, I found it very inconvenient that the closet was so low my clothes were dragging the floor. In short, the hotel, location, condition, night comfort, cleanliness, etc were all good. The desk staff were also good. The big problem was with the cleaning personnel. In the AM (0700), all of the cleaning ladies parked their cleaning carts right in front of our door and decided to have a loud, Spanish speaking, conversation for well over a 1/2 hour, […] waking us up. I had to get up out of bed, and yell at them. 10 minutes later, it started up again, right outside our door. There were at least 6 of them. Upon complaining to the front desk about the issue at checkout, they apologized and said they would talk to their supervisor. Mad the trip up to Anaheim and was a little hot and tired. All I wanted to do was take a shower and check in. we were about 45min early and the older man says " you are way too early I have nothing for you." we had no choice but to leave and come back later. When we did come back a younger lady was at the front desk she seemed as if her job was a drag […] and didn’t want to be there. I continued to check in and she asked me for a three hundred dollar deposit. I was in shock. The biggest deposit I had to put down was a two hundred dollar deposit and that was in Las Vegas. She then continued to go on about all these rules and then had me sign multiple pieces of paper. I was not very comfortable about staying at this hotel anymore. It seemed as if they had many young adults stay there before and I was paying for their misbehaviors. When I got into the room it was clean but a lot of old furniture. I stayed in the loft suite and the only bed that I would approve of is the king ben on the second floor. The appliances were not appealing and did not want to use them. The couch was horrible. We went to go sit in it and it fell apart. You sunk in and the cushions popped out. It was horrible. The breakfast the next day was not fun. The area that they eat in is really small and there were a lot of guests. I had to take my food back to my room. The orange juice was watered down and the only thing that looked appetizing was the waffles. The rest was breads and muffins and cereal. Read more

Very convenient to the Anaheim Convention center -- less than 1/2 mile walk [and if you're attending a convention, you're probably already walking far more than that!], the Cortona is probably the closest hotel you can get to the Convention center that DOESN'T charge for parking, or wi-fi. But the breakfast was really cut rate [bargain bin bulk cereal, Spunkmeyers (sp?) muffins, etc.]. But more importantly, I was there on business, and their internet service was down, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning. You can pay usury rates in their lobby for a very slow connection -- and I did out of desperation, once. This was absolutely critical to me, and I found myself going far out of my way [especially hard when you can't LOOK UP WHERE TO GO] to try to get things done, like compare vendor prices for orders I had to put in before the trade show was over. The desk staff were apologetic, but frankly couldn't appreciate why this was such a serious problem for me, and how much stress and extra cost it added to my trip. One small benefit, I was able to still leave my car in their lot the day I checked out, so at least I didn't have to pay to park in the Convention Center [$12 at any garage you find] for the last day. We were only staying one night, but needed a good night's sleep and asked for a quiet room. When offered one on the 2nd floor, I asked about folks on the floor above and they said no one would be staying in that room. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Whoever was up there was roaming around, walking heavily and taking very long showers until 2-3am! […] Ridiculous! When I mentioned it to the Front Desk they could have cared less - no apology, no discount on the room and no manager to discuss it with. I would NOT recommend this hotel for a Disneyland stay. Clerks should not make inacurate or false statements regarding addtional fees. I have to check my statement for refund, who wants to take time to be sure refund occurs. This is an extra burden for a paying customer. These hotels should be anxious to do everything for return business. I will not return to Cortona Inn Anaheim.

The thing I did like is that I had 2 kids with me and I got the kids suite so they had there own bedroom and tv which made it nice cause i could watch what I wanted and they could hang out in their room.
