We took a vacation to Disneyland late in the summer and needed a place that was walking distance (Although you can easily walk to Disneyland Resort from here, I would highly recommend getting the ART pass at the front desk.) This is our second stay here. It is really close to Disneyland and California Adventure. For adults or older kids you could easily walk to the park. With younger kids, you will still want to take a shuttle which costs about $4. There is really nothing spectacular about this hotel, other than it has clean, comfortable rooms with comfy beds. The only negative about the stay is the $8 per night parking fee you will pay at check out. "Parking Is A Seperate Charge"
I would have given this hotel an A+, thumbs up, if not for this minor detail. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The location to Disneyland was great! You can walk to the park, if you are up to it or it is a very short drive. There is a hotel shuttle, but with a fee.I even really enjoyed Tiffy's Family Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlour, […] walking distance to the hotel. Room rates were fair for the excellent quality of the hotel itself. You can even see fireworks from the poolside of the hotel. Heated pool and spa was great as well. The reason I do not recommend this hotel, it is the only hotel I have ever had to pay a daily fee to park. I discovered this upon check out and was never informed this when making the reservation or at check in. I was shocked when told I owed an addittional $8 per day, at the time, for parking my car! This is seperate from the price of the room itself.They give you a parking permit and a card to get in and out of the lot, but never was I informed that I would have to pay to leave my car there while a guess. The price to park at Disneyland all day is $15, I paid $16 for the two nights I stayed here. Because of this, I will never stay at the Best western Stovall Inn. It is truly unfortunate because they are nice rooms. There are 100's of other hotels just as close to the park that do not charge you to park your car, so I recomend staying elsewhere. "Good hotel but you can do better for not much more"
I have stayed at the stovall inn many times, but for the money, its just not worth it anymore. They now charge 8 dollars a night for parking, something I find completely unnecessary. For 25 dollars more I can get free parking, a nicer room, and a hot made to order omellete breakfast at one of the suite hotel chains (not an exxageration ive stayed there […] many times as well). Flott hotell. Nær beliggenhet til Disney parkene. Godt å ta seg en pause for å så gå tilbake seinere. Kunne se fyrverkeriet gra Disneyland hver kveld kl 2130. Koselig.
