We booked this trip separately from our daughter and her family, and friends. The hotel was very cooperative with getting us all together within a few rooms of each other even though we all had different rated rooms. The location was amazing for going to Disneyland. The "breakfast Included " with the room rate was really very good. Cereals, yogarts, eggs, sausage,drinks,pastries ,toast, fresh fruit and all you could want. Served hot and plenty for all. Manager blocked the check in spots and would not move his car. I was forced to move my car and family away from the lobby. The staff refused to help due to it being the managers car. Security guard was very rude about the situation.

Our group participated in the Tinkerbell Run - The hotel was priced was right as well as the location. We were right across the street from Disneyland where the shuttles go in and out. Six of us stayed in a mini-suite which was adequate. For being a mini suite, a second bathroom sink would have been nice. The beds were comfortable and the cleanliness […] of the room was good. The room was small but it didn't really matter since we just slept there and left after our run. Parking is limited. We were allowed only one parking space. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much room the mini suite had. It was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I woke up feeling good, rested, and without any pain in my back. We did not make it to the complimentary breakfast, but they had bananas in the lobby for guests and were very accommodating with late checkout, answering questions, etc. […] To top it off, the hotel is right next to an IHop and directly across the street from the Disneyland shuttle parking (so, less than a 1/2 mile to the entrance). Its right across the street from Disneyland which is great. Lots of restaurants near by also great. Parking is not included like advertised and the room was kinda small for a so called "mini suite" and we have a small child and they put us on the top floor? Didn't get that one. The condition of the hotel itself is okay. The location is great though! Right across from Disneyland and near a ton of other restaurants and attractions. Not enough parking for the amount of rooms and the parking prices are not what's advertised and are not included like advertised. The room was very dusty. The main door to our room did not have any weather stripping or needed adjusting due to the fact you could see the light from the outside and feel the wind come through all the sides of the door. One could see that the room had not been properly vacumed due to lots of dust and crums were still on the floor around the nightstand. […] I noticed this dirty rug as we walked in for our first day and it was still there on our last night of a three night stay. This is a great hotel for families w/ kids easy access to DL. I would recommend elsewhere for a romantic getaway. This is definitely a family hotel that suits the needs of parents w/ kids or anyone looking for a quick walk to DL (u really can't get any closer). very clean and quiet hotel that is 5 minutes walking distance to Disneyland. Breakfast and free internet were included and parking fee was minimal (8 dollars/day). in the evening, we used the hot tub and it was not crowded at all. breakfast had a lot of options and was open early.

We stayed the the Park Place from Sept. 23 to Sept 30th. We found the rooms more than adequate. Clean and functional. The refrigerator keep our drinks very cold. That doesn't happen often! Air Conditioning worked very well as it was hot in the parks that week and it was nice to come back to a cool room. The location can not be beat. Several Restaurants […] nearby and just a quick trip to the Disney front gates. We did not try the free breakfast because that is just not our thing. The pool was small but the kids enjoyed it the 1 time we were out there. The only complaint I could have and kept this to a 4 star rating the the VERY tight Parking. The front side of the hotel looks to have a little more space. Our room was on the back side and it is very tight to get a mini van parked in there and still get your door open. At $8 a day for parking we expected to be able to have a space near our room. Not always the case. All in all, we would come back to this hotel again. We have stayed at a few others on Harbor and this one is in the perfect location. Read more

They should tell all their costumers that there is not 24 hour parking. costumers have to move their car from the parking lot at 2:30 pm the day of check out. I prefer not to say anything if it's going to be negative but this hotel is terrible.

Location location location!!!!! Super convenient! This hotel is right across the street from the Disney entrance!!!! We got to the gate quicker than walking from parking to trams. Rates were reasonable and included free continental breakfast. I have to say it was better than most "continental" breakfasts! It even included eggs and sausage. Cant complain […] when its FREE!!! Hotel room was pretty clean and spacious and staff was very friendly and helpful!!! Only "con" I have is the parking expires at 3pm the next day. I specifically picked this hotel for its proximity to the Disneyland entrance and in that regard it's ideal -- literally across the street. The room was clean, reasonably comfortable, a bit dated -- but whatever, we didn't spend much time in it, and the towels were surprisingly good. I travel a lot for work so I notice these details. The only slight […] negative is that it REALLY smelled of cleaning product when we came in. Wish they used something less toxic-smelling. Here's where it really fell short: check in is 3:00 and you have no place to park if you get there early. The lot has just enough spaces for the rooms and when they're full, there's no place to park. Great location, closest hotel to Disneyland. You cannot stay closer off site. Price was real good. Nice rooms. What I did not like about the hotel. The bed sheets were like waffles, yes waffles they are square and not soft. The breakfast that comes with your room is one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had. Frozen waffles, cheap pastries. This hotel does not hold up to the standards and services by other Best Western Plus Hotels. We (a family of 6) were very disappointed with the disregard for clean comfortable rooms and if not for the location to the Disneyland gates we would have moved to another hotel immediately after walking into the assigned room.

The location is great. . . just across from the main gate of Disneyland. WiFi in the room is free, as well as using the hotel computer and printer in the lobby, which I rate as excellent amenities. Can't beat free good, filling, hot breakfast as well. The staff is solicitous and responds to requests, if not promptly, within a reasonable time. However, […] this is an old establishment. Its buildings, decor, furnishings, and general surroundings will greatly benefit from an upgrade and fresh coat of lighter paint. My room was dark and gloomy. The air conditioner was noisy on the high setting; on the other hand, the less-noisy low setting was not powerful enough to neutralize the outside temperature bordering on the 100s. Unfortunately, within an hour and a half of my settling in, one transmission blew up which reduced power. I could see the hotel maintenance staff and the Fire Dept clustered around an electrical pole. A little more than an hour after trying to fix it, the hotel power died altogether. When queried, the Front Desk offered to transfer the guests to other Best Western Hotels in the area, but NO guest refund or goodwill deduction of money paid, even for those who opted to stay rather than suffer the inconvenience of packing up and moving. I thought this was inconsiderate at best, but decided to ride out the power failure and go to sleep instead. Power was restored within 4 hours at most. On the whole, I would stay in this hotel again and recommend it to others. Read more

I booked this hotel because of the close proximity to Disneyland. We showed up in the morning and were told their parking lot was full. We would have to go pay to park at a Disneyland parking lot. Then at 12pm we could pay to park our car in their parking lot. The lady at the front desk told me that on their website it was listed that you can't use […] their parking lot until 12 pm because I booked through expedia it didn't tell me that. They were very rude and not at all helpful. So we had to pay twice to park our car because you can't leave your car in a Disney parking lot overnight. The only reason we chose this hotel was so we could walk from our hotel to Disneyland. I would recommend either checking with the other hotels in the area to see when you are able to park your car in their lot or if you have to park in the Disney parking lot just driving a little further and getting a cheaper hotel who won't charge you to use their lot. Our "non-smoking" room stank like old cigarette smoke, and wouldn't go away with our attempts to air out the room. The staff greated us with a big smile. Check in wasn't until 3, but when we checked in at 1, we were told our room was ready. That was a nice surprise. Hotel is right across the street from Disneyland, which made it so nice when you had to walk back to your hotel from the park! They had what looked like egg beaters, sausages, toast, pastries, muffins, cereal, juices, yogurt and coffee. It was plenty for us before heading over to the park. People gripe about having to pay $8.00 a day for parking, but I read about that on their web site, so it wasn't unexpected. Even the housekeeping staff would great you with a smile as you walked by, and I did have to ask one maintenance guy help us with a loose door jam. It was loose and the door didn't shut well. He came back within a half hour and had it tightened up, and we didn't have any other problems with it. You're right on the busy Harbor Blvd, but we didn't hear any of the traffic while in our room. There is nothing special about this hotel, but I would come back because of its location in relation to Disneyland. The room was good enough, considering there was only two of us and we really were only in the room once we were ready to go straight to bed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast at Captain Kidd was satisfying, […] a simple breakfast buffet. I just really appreciated how easy it was to walk to the park from our hotel. This would be your best bet, as far as distance, if you are not willing to spend in order to stay at the actual Disneyland Resort. However, if you are looking for exceptionally comfortable accommodations and such amenities, I advise you look elsewhere and take a shuttle or something. I would describe this hotel as being good enough, but nothing great. P.S. Parking area is a bit tight, especially if you're driving a 15- passenger van or something, but understandable given its space on the block. We easily overlooked it since we had no reason to drive!
