Location can't be beat. Literally across the street from Disneyland entrance. Easy walk to Disneyland, CA Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Didn't need the car the entire stay. Walls are very thin, so you hear what you're neighbors are doing (coughing, crying, etc.)... but our 2-year old was crying, so I figure we probably gave as much as we got; however, […] if you spend 10-12 hours at one of the parks, you are going to be so tired that any noises you may hear don't really bother you... and everybody is going to bed early so that's good. "The best hotel for a Disneyland vacation"
We have stayed a several of the hotels surrounding Disneyland over the years and this was the best. Every employee was kind and helpful. We even had an employee, walking by us as we checked out, offer to take our luggage down to the car. We got a huge free breakfast. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy They have a fridge and microwave in the room. […] They have a great pool and hot tub. And it is directly across the street from the Disneyland. So you can easily go back to eat or rest. The only down side it that it is like a motel where all of the rooms open to outside and in the morning for the breakfast the kids running could be heard form the room. It's the closest hotel to the maingate and right next to IHOP. Loved the location. However, chose the hotel because of the treadmill and got there only to discover that it is broken. I have stayed at most of the hotels across from Disneyland, and this one was the best. It was extremely close (closer than most Disneyland hotels) and was very comfortable and clean. "We would stay there again."
The hotel is very nice and the rooms very comfortable. It was quiet and clean and we could see the fireworks. The trouble was we had to pack after the 1st night because, although we booked for 2 nights, they could only accommodate 1 night in the type of room we ordered. Because they had already promised our type of room before we booked through Hotels.com. […] We were sent an email the morning of our trip to identify the problem and they said they could move us into another type room the next night. We packed our stuff back in the car knowing were being moved and went to Disneyland. I came back at 1:30 because I was told that was when our room would be ready. It was not. Took my nap in the car. The next time, instead of promising, they should suggest they would call WHEN the new room is ready. Other than that and the hair from the previous guest on my pillow, which may have been because they rushing my room. And I would have appreciated a little more empathy from the gentleman that dealt with us at the front desk. He finally squeezed out the appropriate responses and everyone else was great! This is a great place to take your toddlers to Disneyland, but for one couple who came back for their nap - their room hadn't been cleaned yet either - maybe they need to hire another cleaning person. Great location right at the crosswalk to Disneyland resort. Can see the fireworks from the balcony. Hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, etc) included, though not much indoor seating in breakfast area. Plenty of outdoor seating but it was cold in late January so no one wanted to sit outside. Beds not that comfortable but not bad. Great shower pressure. The room had both a refrigerator and microwave which was a money saver for us. We also were able to have early check in service before going to Disney, which saved us 2 days of parking at the park. "Worst room and service ever recieved !!!"
had to call and complain 4 times plus in person several times !! because of the SEWER !!!! Thats right the sink in the bathroom would back up at 6 am, during the day and late at night it would spill water and unknown brown stuff Everywhere, they would send a maintenance man to mop it up with towels! did they sanitize the floor or the sink where we brush […] our teeth ??? NO !!! No cleaner was used !! Everytime I went to the front desk or called them, mysteriously there was NEVER a manager there to talk to!! DId they move us to another room? NO ! Did they take something off our bill for living in that filth??? NO ! One of the mornings my husband got up at 6 am and noticed the sink rising, I immediately called and no one came, he had to stand there with the ice bucket and scoop out the sink and dump it into the toilet so it wouldnt get the floor all wet again. Also we were in a room that was "adjoined" to another room, the door seperating us had a 2" gap at the bottom of the SINGLE door I could hear everything our neighbors said and vice versa ! NO privacy at all ! We would wake up in the morning to an awful sewer smell, after being up all night listening to someone above us run around and stomp in the room above us till 4 AM every night ! people visit there to have a nice vacation , not to have to endure sewer smell, walk on filthy floors and be given every excuse and no compensation or resolution to the problem ! horrible !! It was our second time in Park Vue Inn. If you want to save money and stay in a decent hotel - this is the place to go! Nothing fancy but for the money it is not too bad. The room was clean and quiet (even though we were on the 1st floor), and our son loved the bunk bed)) Ok breakfast, the only complaint that it may be really crowded at certain time […] in the morning and you have to wait for the table. Our room appeared clean in all respects until I realized that the carpet was so filthy it was turning our feet BLACK! The beds are hard and the pillows are harder. I was also very disappointed that they had eliminated the evening social meal without saying so on their website. I would not have booked there had I known that. Walk in entrance to Disneyland is directly across the street. Room was clean, with double beds and bunk beds (only 2 of us, but perfect for the kids too). Front desk person was very nice and helpful.
