Super 8 Anaheim Near Disneyland

I normally don't take the time to rate the hotels I stay at, unless the experience is horrible or excellent. In this case it was EXCELLENT!! The price was so reasonable and the rooms where so clean it really made me happy I chose it. I stayed on a Tuesday so IDK how much the weekends are.

I choose this hotel, because we were going to Disney on Saturday. However, before that on Friday we were attending a concert in LA and I knew it might be cutting it close to check in on "Friday". I say "Friday" because by time we got to Anaheim it was 12:36AM, techinically "Saturday". However, the guy behind the desk acted like it was no big deal and […] quickly checked us in. FANTASTIC!! The hotel was very comfortable. The only two complaints I have is #1 the shower head was WAY too low, I think it was meant for ages 2 - 10, but we managed. #2 was not so much about the hotel, but the guests there. I'm not sure what time it was, but after 11:00 some guests came running down the hallway outside the rooms and were being very loud. I laid there for a moment wishing/hoping that they would quiet down and go inside their room, which within a few short minutes they did. You would think common courtesy would to be quiet after 9PM but I've learned that some people these days don't have courtesy, so all in all it was a good experience. Oh one last thing, the "breakfast room" is a joke. Cinnamon rolls in packages, frozen waffles, some cereal and some fruit....ok whatever. We passed on that "amenitity". Read more

Our room was in the back away from the main road so we did not experience any of the noise some of the other reviewers mentioned. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. What else do you need. The morning breakfast was ok but considering the price of the room I was satisfied. Couldn't beat the location. I think this is the perfect hotel for those who want to go to Disneyland and not spend a lot of money on a hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable and a short walking distance from the parks. There are many restaurants near by or you can grab a Subway on your way to the parks!

The motel was good for the price. The room was quite comfortable - better than most, actually. A little loud, but that's to be expected near Disneyland, with people coming and going, and kids excited to see Mickey. The breakfast could have been much better.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and both stays were very good. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms were a bit outdated but still very nice. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. The parking, breakfast and wifi were all free.

Pros: Fairly newly remodel on the rooms and the main lobby was being redone while I was there. very comfortable beds and the biggest plus was the fact that it is literally next door to Anaheim garden walk which is full of nice restaurants and shopping. We arrived early and had medication for my son's ear infection. I asked if they had a fridge we could use and they let us check in early and provided a fridge in our room. When we arrived at the hotel, the person that checked us in acted like she was doing us a favor. The Motel is a bit strange in the way the buildings are laid out, and when she gave me a map and quickly drew a squiggly line on where we should drive our car to and park, I was quite confused. When I asked for verification, she looked at me like I was stupid […] and said "you'll find it". When we finally did find our room, after parking twice in the wrong area, we were very happy with the cleanliness and furnishings. The room was recently remodeled, complete with a flat screen TV. The hotel is ok, it's within walking distance from Disneyland, and is worth the little short of a mile walk to avoid the $15 for parking that racks up when you are going on a budget. Beds are a little firm and rooms are small but we only used the room to sleep before heading back over to the parks which made the hotel worth it.

Hotel is a 10-15 minutes walk from Disneyland Entrance on Harbor Boulevard. There is a free Breakfast that we didn't get to try as it closed by 9.30 AM (too early for us). The check in staff was good and one friendly and the other not so friendly. The rooms had patch repairs in the walls and the plug in the wall (electrical) were loose and had to move plug to get a good connection. the maintenance staff the first night was good but the other nights not so good. The lady working in the breakfast area needs to be doing […] something else besides working with the public. Sh has no people skills and they ran out of syrup for the waffles and the cereal was not as fresh as itshould have been and she would take the waffles and put them back in the package after people found out that there was no syrup and would leave them on the plates they had. The parking garage across from our rooms was noisy and the charges for the babies ($10 each night night a total of $40 extra dollaras is kind of outrageous since they are under 2 yrs old.) We had asked for two cribs and only one was available the first night. I would not reccommend this establishment. Thed price of the rooms was way too hight for the condition the place was in. This is a noisy place. We could hear the people above us walking around all night. In the morning woke to people running up and down the halls. It sounded like the ceiling was going to fall.
