I made this reservation over the phone with Hotels.com and was a little nervous because I like to research where I stay. Pulling into the parking lot... of the Clarion, I was sure I had made a mistake allowing the operator to chose for me, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. I make this trip every year and I will be staying at Clarion from now on. Love the room, love the shower, love the pool and the baby grand in the lobby. Very friendly service and clean rooms. The location was perfect for the occasion (graduation ceremony). The service was efficient and courteous, the room was very nice, and very clean. The secure parking and room access was perfect. Highly recommend this establishment.

Ended up in Covington after my dad was hospitalized and there were no hotels with rooms available in New Orleans. Overall nice hotel. Staff very polite. Disappointed that the dryer was broken and a day later still not fixed.

staff was great. restaurant one of the best i have eaten in including all of the upscale restaurants in new orleans. the chef did an outstanding job on the food it was wonderful. you are lucky to have him and i would visit your hotel again just to eat at the restaurant.

I was very pleased with the hotel. I am picky and usually stay at Hampton Inn, etc but there were no rooms left in town, so I "settled" for the Clarion. It was great. Even though we prepaid via Expedia, the registration clerk ran a second charge against my credit card. The biggest problem was the lack of drapes to block out light and noise at night.
