"near airport but not as nice as most Hiltons"
rooms are older and furnishings are a little outdated for a Hilton, but the hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle. Staff can get overwhelmed if it is busy, so expect a long wait at check-in/out if it is crowded and once when I called down with a question about airport shuttle times, I let it ring 12 times before I gave up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic Customer Service"
Hotel staff was super accommodating and the on-site restaurant food very good. I was concerned about airplane noise since it is so close to the airport but never heard even one airplane. "Disappointing short stay"
Arived late, left early. Only experience was check-in, the room check out. Check-in/out was fine but the room was disappointing. Bathroom not well cleaned, plain old tub with stiff fixture, wall paper comming off at the edges. The room had a stale smell, used feel and only one accessabe outlet by the desk forcing me to recharge my phone in the bathroom. […] Pay for use Internet (annoying when you need it for 10 min). We stayed for one night, flying out the next day. The price was right and it was a really nice hotel. The hotel was nice enough, but for the price there were plenty of hotels nearby that offer more amenities. When checking in the front desk staff was stand offish bordering on rude, though it was busy for sure. "Okay for a layover; not for business travelers"
The hotel itself was a bit dated and the room we were in had several issues - some easily fixable. The bathroom door had a gaping hole where the towel/robe hook used to be. There were no place for us to hang our used towels after the shower. The shower/tub failed to drain properly so we were standing in an inch of used soapy water after showering. The […] bathroom is exceedingly small - I'm a petite 5'1" woman and lived in NY, so I'm usually okay with small spaces; this pushed my comfort level. There were no plugs by the bedstands to charge our phones and only found a plug to do so by unplugging the coffeemaker (which meant reaching behind the minifridge to unplug it). On the plus side, the shuttle to/from the airport was on time and efficient. Bedding was fine - nothing luxurious but adequate for weary travelers just trying to sleep enough to catch an early connecting flight. "Not up to Hilton standard"
I have stayed at many Hilton hotels in my life, and this hotel was probably my least favorite (aside from Reno). First and foremost, the room rate was way too high for the services offered. The hotel is located near the airport and Mall of America, but nothing is close by. Unless you plan on eating at the mall, you will be paying a lot of money for […] food at the Hilton's restaurant. The shuttle service offered by the hotel was nice, to both the airport and mall, but they were not responsible with their pick-up times. "Go Executive or Go Back Home!"
I splurged a little on the King Exec room and am so glad I did! The bonus benefits were incredible! Not only was the room on the 11th floor large and nice but it had an awesome view of the nature preserve. The key card access to the 12th floor included the Exec Lounge which had an amazing view of the downtown skyline. It also had food and alcohol/beverages, […] TV, wifi and comfy seating. I could've spent my whole stay in there! It had happy hour & breakfast covered! My room also included 2 breakfast buffets in the restaurant. Thankfully I was able to share these with my colleagues so nothing went to waste. I had about 8 people in my room in the afternoon for a work meeting. There were enough outlets & lighting for us to work comfortably. It's a beautiful property and if you can find a good deal on an executive level room, I would highly recommend it! We even ordered food from the restaurant & they let us bring it up ourselves (after room service hours). The pizza and burgers were divine! I would definitely go back again. I didn't get to explore the pool but it looked nice. Our only slightly "negative" was that it was unseasonably warm outside (for Feb) & our room got stuffy with no air coolers or window to open. "Disappointed in this Hilton location"
I chose this hotel, because it was the main location for my graduate school residency. Unfortunately, the rooms did not come with a microwave or refrigerator--two essential amenities found at ALL hotels I've ever stayed at. There was NO continental breakfast included in the rate and, the "continental" provided the bare minimum to anyone who was not […] fortunate enough to have vouchers for the breakfast buffet. Note: The hotel restaurant was very expensive. Also, the price per night was pretty steep, even though students were supposed to have received a discounted rate. As well, housekeeping was NOT good about getting the rooms cleaned in a timely manner. It was hard to get guest services on the line, and the hotel shuttle was NOT as convenient as I'd imagined. Overall, I was sorely displeased with this Hilton location, as I've definitely had much better experiences with other Hilton locations. Under betragtning af prisen synes jeg ikke hotellet levede op til standarden. Det er nu 2. gang jeg overnatter på et Hilton lufthavnshpotel i USA og jeg er ikke imponeret. Servicen er OK, men heller ikke mere og et fællestræk for begge de 2 hoteller var, at man ikke følte sig tryg i forhallen fordi der til stadighed var en lille flok unge, der "hang […] ud" i forhallen, på en måde, der ikke var behagelig. Alt i alt svarer det slet ikke til mit hidtidige indtryk af et Hilton-hotel - Jeg havde bedre kunnet forstå det hvis det var et Best-Western hotel, som så også havde haft en helt anden prisklasse.
