"tucked away"
Sandaway is in a quiet little town. You are away from heavy traffic and crowds. Didn't see any shops and there was the Morris Inn and Salter Tavern on the corner we dined for dinner and breakfast. Room was victorian decor and spacious. We requested a room with a view of the water. There are no tvs or internet service in the rooms. The do have a community […] room with a tv and internet access. This a a good place to go if you want to" get away from it all". We sat by the water and enjoyed wine and beer and the view. The only negative when we were sitting outside was the mosquitos. We returned to our room and enjoyed the view from our window. We've never stayed in a bed & breakfast so I'm not sure if the price we paid was good. We only stayed one night for our 25th Anniversary and I feel that we paid a little too much. Overall it was a perfect place to enjoyed a quiet evening with my husband. This is a B&B in a lovely waterfront setting on a peninsula with small sandy beach. Nearby is a fine restaurant in the Robert Morris Inn. Nice area for walking and biking with harbor/sea views. We found ourselves in a VERY small room (appropriately named "Cosy") which is only slightly bigger than the queen bed. WC is in a closet in the room but shower […] is at end of hall. "Beautiful Sunset"
The room was comfortable and a good size. Could see a little bit of the water from my room. Bed was pretty hard. But overall accommodations were good. The best thing was the beautiful sunset over the water just steps from out room. The location was fantastic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
