"Noisy"
The bed and bath we're clean. Sheets did not fit bed and room had a fouled out odor. The train was just across hwy 66 and ran regularly til at least midnight and started up again @ 5am. A dog left in a truck barked all night. We should have driven back to phx that nite after our event. No rest at all. We will not choose this location again. "You get what you pay for"
This hotel was very cheap. The room smell moldy. I have to change room closed to lobby because the free internet conection did not work from my 1first room. And even then internet was very slow. "A disappointing night"
Only one electrical outlet worked. There was a hair dryer, but the electrical outlet did not work. Plumbing was loud and sounded like a machine gun. Towels were threadbare. "U won't stay the Knight"
Gross, gross, gross,...there was hair on the dirty, old, stained sheets. You could tell it had been laundered, just completely hideous and should have been thrown out years ago. We slept fully clothed and found another room elsewhere for the second night in Flagstaff. Told them the room was gross and we were leaving. They offered another room. No thank […] you. GROSS. "Cheap,Cheap"
It was a good thing that we had requested two beds because we used the bedspread to put in front of the door to cover the 1/2 inch gap at the bottom of the door. If we hadn't done that we would have had snow on the floor when we woke in the morning, not that we were able to sleep much due to the trains passing right by room alll night long. The stairs […] are steep and very slick when it snows and no one had swept them or the sidewalk after the snow, had to hold onto my husband and the rails to keep from falling. We had some major issues when staying at this hotel. The first being that their front desk clerk spoke broken English and couldn't tell us how to get from the freeway to the hotel. We drove around for 30 minutes before finding it and finally had to ask for her to get someone who spoke English to help us. She went and found a maintenance worker. "Trains, Scuz and Burning Cords"
Wow, not much good to say. Bad odor in the room but you kinda got used to it after a while. We turned down the bed so we didn't get anything that was on the bedspread on our personal items. Light fixture started to short out so we had to turn off all lights in order for the room not to catch fire. They should change the pictures...they are so deceiving. The beds had hair in it. The micro was in the laundry room. You had to get ice from the motel clerk. 1 sandwich zip lock bag full. The tub had hair left in it. I had to request another set of towels because the one wash rag had stains all over it. I would have gladly paid more for another room. […] This place was a dive. "They Tried but Maintenance Guy Has to Go!"
I knew when we booked this that we were staying at a cheap hotel. Also we took our dog, so again, we knew what to expect. It is a cheap motel but the people for the most part tried hard. We stayed for 3 nights and because we had a dog, the maid never cleaned the room. Understandable. The whole trip though was a little weird because they were doing some […] renovations I guess and the maintenance guy lived in the room below ours and he parked his truck basically on the walk to get to the stairs. Tried to say hello to him one morning and got a grumble. Was just a weird old guy. On top of that one night the hotels water was off for a good hour and they told no one. Had to find out after using the restroom that there was no water. Anyway, the incident that was most concerning and why I would recommend not staying at this hotel was the last night we were there. We went out with some friends and for some reason our dog freaked out and started howling. Now this is very embarrassing to me and I feel awful for that, this hotels (or at least the maintenance guys) solution to this problem was unacceptable. They had my cell phone number at the front desk, but instead of calling me to come take care of the problem; they went into our room and took the dog out. We got back later and were freaked out by the dog being gone and our lights on. I’m missing my wireless adaptor for my computer and wonder if that was taken during this process.
