"Affordable, clean, close to the sights"
Great deal! Very affordable, nothing fancy, but the room was clean and simple, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the downtown area was less than a 10min walk away. This is a great place if you are only intending to rest at the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel to spend the night at"
It was a clean hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We'll located for anything you want to do in Flagstaff. The only issue was getting out of the parking lot because it emptied directly on the corner and a left turn was required to go to the center of town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"NO NO NO NO!"
If you want to wake up with a spine which feels like it's been crushed and compressed, torn out and put back in wrapped in barbed wire, then you should stay here. Otherwise, stay away from the ROCK hard, yet very lumpy beds. You know the beds are bad when a 7 year old wakes up and says, "Papa, I think my back is broken! I'm so tired but I don't ever […] want to sleep in THAT bed again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Did the job perfectly"
If you want fancy, stay at the Drury across the street or some other hotel. My wife and our friends stayed here the weekend of August 2nd - 4th. We went to Flagstaff to escape the Phoenix heat, and enjoy the local breweries. This hotel was within perfect walking distance to downtown. The staff was friendly, the room was extremely clean, and it had a […] micro fridge. The water pressure was great, the tv worked, and the king bed was supportive, but not too hard. The ONLY complaint I have, and it's minimal, is the pillows were a little wimpy. if you're driving, bring your own. I would DEFINITELY stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Simple... that's all we needed"
This hotel is very small and has no bells or whistles. That's okay, since we spent very little time in the room anyway since we were visiting Flagstaff to tour NAU. This hotel is right across the street from campus. The parking lot is very small, so a little difficult to park with our minivan. When we checked in and asked if they had a rollaway bed, […] we were upgraded to a room with 3 queen beds for very reasonable fee per night. I'd never seen a room with 3 queens, but they had two and it was the perfect size for our family. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best Value by Far"
What a great place. Amazingly comfortable beds, great location, and friendly, helpful people -- at a price that beats all alternatives! Probably 5th time we've been there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice place. Good location, within half mile of downtown train station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent but did not feel safe here"
The property manager was extremely nice and helpful but the hotel is a bit run-down looking and the parking lot is very dark at night. This made me feel a bit unsafe as I arrived around 10pm. Location is fine. Rooms are passable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value, clean, no frills motel"
Great place to sleep in Flagstaff. Basic, clean, no frills, affordable motel. I have stayed there twice. I intend to stay there again, if I am in Flagstaff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Served the purpose well"
We stayed here as a base to visit Sedona and Montezuma Castle and Wells. It was handy being within walking distance of the town. The price was OK, service (consisting of check in and check out) was quick and efficient. Room was fine (ground floor away from the road noise).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"extremely clean, if small"
You would probably never think of staying here if not for the great reviews. It is an unassuming building. But the beds are comfortable and the room is exceptionally clean, on par with any I have stayed in. The only negative is that they are smaller rooms. Otherwise, perfect score for me.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Great that they had a frig and micro in room. Very near downtown. Never ran out of hot water. This hotel was not at all noisy (some near hear had problems with hearing the train tracks). Room was a little small, but otherwise a great place for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful old "Route 66" motel!"
Very comfortable, clean, and friendly. Even had nice sized refrigerator and microwave. Across the street from Northern Arizona University, and just down the hill from Lowell Observatory. Comfortable beds, quiet and efficient heating/cooling unit. Across the street from a huge natural foods grocery store and convenient to downtown. Even though it's right […] on the corner of old Route 66, we didn't hear traffic noise. Superb motel for the low price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay."
This is not the fanciest place, but it is extremely clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, competent and efficient. The price is great. Good restaurant across the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"As usual really nice stay"
We have stayed at this hotel before and really liked it. We have no problems here and the rooms are nice and clean. My family loves it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and friendly"
This is not a 5 star hotel. It was perfect for a weekend trip to the snow. The sheets were clean, the walls and switch plates weren't dirty and the bathroom was small with no vanity table but also clean. The carpet seemed older but nothing smelled bad. The staff was friendly and even helped us jump start a dead battery in the morning. It is close […] to the train tracks but I never heard the trains go by. Location 2 blocks south of downtown and within a block of two good restaurants, try Granny's closet for dinner or The Place for breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location and Friendly Staff"
This hotel was close to everything but it was difficult to get too. Parking was a little weird but it was manageable, just don't arrive late or you will have to park a mile away. The hotel staff was very nice and housekeeping did a really good job of keeping everything stock and garbage emptied. The only down side is that it only had two power outlets […] and one garbage can. The room was a little tight for four people but it was comfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"on the way to Phoenix"
This was a good place to stay for an on-the-road trip. The motel was easy to find and on a main street. The room was basic but clean and the bed was was very comfortable - firm but not too hard . The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a microwave and refrigerator but could use a coffeemaker and a removable shower head. Overall, though, we […] were pleased. "Really nice and comfortable"
I was really nervous of how our stay would be since we had never stayed at this hotel and the price was cheap. But we had a good time and the hotel was good. We had no problems, all was clean and sleeping was no problem. We really enjoyed our stay! I will definitely return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable. Comfortable. Clean"
My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights while we were visiting Grand Canyon, Sedona and Monument Valley, AZ. The stay was very nice. Rooms were maintained well. Although the hotel exterior shows some wear, the cleanliness and the room service is very good. The price is affordable and the location is right at the heart of Flagstaff - close to restaurants, […] coffee shops, gas stations and easy access to highway. Having the laundry within the hotel was very convenient. Overall, no complaints. Pleasant stay. Worth the buck. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay was very nice, right off of the main street, yet the hotel was set just far enough back to where you couldnt hear traffic. Location was perfect, food was right down the road. The room was nice and comfortable, the heater worked great, and considering it was 10 degrees outside we needed it. Very nice stay, very friendly staff as well. Plenty […] of parking too! "Ok but not good."
Fair hotel in the area, compared to others this one is a bit better. Simple inn lobby. Simple room, with microwave and fridge. Small shower and cramped sink toilet area. Comforter and middle blanked was a bit holy. Overall a descent quite hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice for the price"
Just your basic old-school hotel... clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. About a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Had an enjoyabe stay which was a stop off to the Grand Canyon South Rim. Only real problem was access as it is on a busy intersection which made turning in a little difficult as the entry was just a few metres from the intersection. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room which is another downside to the Hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Slow wifi, small rooms, lack of wall outlets"
There was only two outlets in the room itself, I had to unplug the tv to plug my laptop in. I had to move the bed and unplug the clock radio as I have a cpap. The room had a smell. The internet was so painfully slow I ended up tethering my phone which could only get a 3g signal on verizon and this was actually faster. Why this place has 4.1 stars is […] beyond me. The bed was hard also. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed here for one night and really have no complaints. The room, bed, and bathroom were clean and the people were friendly. If you just need a place to sleep comfortably at night, you cant go wrong for this price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Better than I expected for the price."
Decent hotel. The location was within walking distance (for my family anyway, some people are just lazy) from old town Flagstaff, restaurants and convenience stores. The last one was important as the vending machine would not accept dollar bills. The room, particularly the tile floor in the bathroom, was not cleaned to my standards which are pretty […] high because I own a cleaning company. The biggest downfall of our stay was a group of old men trying to recapture their youth by touring Route 66 by motorcycle. They sat in the parking lot running their import imitation "hogs" for about 20 minutes with the sound reverberating off the walls. We went inside and shut the door and discovered that the room was very well insulated. We have to go back to Flagstaff at the end of July and will likely stay here again. "Highland Country Inn - Flagstaff"
This hotel has a great location on the main drag. The staff were friendly and helpful, and towels and bedding were in good condition. You can walk to a good breakfast place a block two minutes down the hill. It is a good value for the price we paid. One negative is that the carpet needed cleaning or replacement.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very helpful and courteous . The room was clean, comforatable, and everything worked. An excellent value. I would not hesitate to stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice and Convenient!!!"
This is not a good place if you plan to stay in the hotel more than you want to spend time in the snow, otherwise its perfect.... like I said ...nice and convenient. Good H2O pressure, water gets warm fast, heater working perfectly......mattress and sheets are a little worn out though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do not use Internet !!"
Pros: Clean and Large rooms, all amenities except coffee maker, free toiletries, proximity to all attractions in flagstaff. Cons: A bit costly in comparison with other hotels. No breakfast included. And the Biggest issue for me was that - THE FREE INTERNET imposed Malware/virus into my system with in just 5 mins I connected to it. I had to restore […] my system. Do NOT USE it. This Internet problem disappointed me and took a lot of my time fixing the system. and hence giving it a 2. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very good quality / price ratio"
Stayed here for one night, attracted by positive reviews and a very good price. It was definitely a good call. The rooms are clean and good; the value/cost ratio is very very good. And it's got good parking right next to the rooms. And friendly crew - we got surprised by snow, so they kindly let us borrow they brush for clearing the car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
