This hotel is across the street from a major train line which has freight trains running all night long! The hotel is old and doesn't even have soundproof windows. Sleep elsewhere.

The pool was not functional, the WiFi didn't work, the only convenient outlet was broken, there were only 2 tiny towels for 2 people. The manager was not really helpful and seemed incapable of addressing our issues. He said he was sorry but didn't fix anything, offering us coupons for pizza. We left and checked into the Best Western. Read the reviews and do not stay here!!! This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at! One of the wash clothes had a large hole in the middle of it while the second one looked as if the hotel staff had dusted with it then hung it on the rack! There were stains on the sitting surfaces of all the chairs and the entire room had a horrible smell […] to it. Hotel staff has to be the worst I've ever dealt with.. Reception area very dirty and reception desk attendant kept on eating while line of customers waited at front desk. I will never return to this hotel and will never recommend it either.

This one is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. 1. The First Room that was assigned to us was not at all made up. It had shoes and clothes of previous occupant. Bed wasnt made up. In short, the whole room was in a worst possible state. So we asked to get another room. 2. The Second room that was allocated stinked and had water dripping from the […] ceiling. Bathroom didnt had good lighting. So we asked for another room, again... 3. The third and the final room was bearable, we were too tired to ask for another room now. The room heater switches were non-functional, only On or Off; cant control fan speed. Heater tempearture control was not working... it used to give, either cool or hot air, no warm air or the one you prefer. TV Remote was not functional. TV reception was not at all clear. The towels provided were kinda rough. Wireless Internet reception so poor that our room which was just across the hotel office/counter and we still didnt receive connection. I saw people at the office lobby with their laptops to access internet. In short, for me this has been a very unpleasant and disappointing stay. Not recommending. Read more

My wife and I stay at a variety of different hotels throughout the year for quick weekend trips. Occasionally we bring along our two small dogs. Finding a decent hotel that is pet friendly and clean can be already quite difficult, and our experience at this hotel hasn’t made the endeavor any easier for our future travels. Pros: On sale through hotels.com Cons: […] When we arrived at the hotel, it was pet friendly (with a pet fee… for each dog). The savings from hotel.com was lost, but it was now about the same price as most decent hotels in the area. Unfortunately, the list of cons grew, and we will simply stay somewhere else the next time we are in Flagstaff. • Room smelled like cats and dogs. No facilities to take your dogs for a walk, bathroom, etc. Pet friendly? What is the pet fee for if it isn’t used to clean the rooms or create facilities for the pets? • Multiple hairs, not ours, found under the comforter. • Bathroom shower/tub didn’t drain after taking a shower. • Paper thin walls, heard the TV in another room play all night, and the hotel is located close to a busy train track. • TV remote broken (not that big of a deal, but just another added annoyance). • Room was advertised as having a microwave and fridge in the room, but it only had a fridge… no microwave. In the hotel’s defense, we didn’t notify them of our discomfort. All of these things were discovered throughout our stay, and so we only told hotel management about the tub when we checked out. If this hotel was the last hotel to have a room available in Flagstaff, keep driving or sleep in your car. If you like trains, this is your place. Trains run every half hour on the hour. The hotel is not what I expected of a Travelodge. The grounds were dirty, the room was dirty with stains on the carpet and chair. I couldn't use the air conditioner […] as it smelled like urine. We had requested a non-smoking room. Room was full of smoke, paint peeling throughout room and the bath tub was filthy. Very poor service as the front desk clerk assured us that the room was a non-smoking room even though there was a smoking emblem on the door. He was not helpful and we decided not to stay there.

1) Carpet was ripped, peeling from floor, and wet in sections; 2) Wall board had been patched but not painted over; 3) Day 2 we put out a "please service" sign, which was replaced with a smaller sign saying "no service". the room was NEVER serviced in five days. These benches were the scenes of loud, drunken parties literally only a few feet away from our window. Noisy trains running up until Midnight or so every five minutes. Looks like a spider was embedded in he popcorn ceiling, its body halfway sticking out. The night staff and morning staff were pleasant. The night staff was very attentive in providing us door assistance and with extra blankets and towels. I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel, and certainly wouldn't stay at the Travelodge again if in Flagstaff. Pros: - pets accepted Cons: - one of our towels was wet when we first got to the room. - dog hairs all over the floor. - the drain plug in the shower was broken and we had to get another one. - no microwave, although the room listed […] having one. - our "king size" bed was not king size. I'm 5'4 and if I laid sideways on it (to measure), my feet hung off. The smallest style of king bed (California) is 72" wide, so there is no way our bed was a king. This wouldn't be a big deal except that there were two of us and a baby sleeping in it. - service was extremely rude. When I told them, politely but clearly, that we hadn't gotten a king bed as requested, the owner at the counter was incredibly dismissive and rude and kept interrupting me. Would not let my enemy stay here. Very hard to find the hotell. No pool, no cleaning, the breakfast was terrible - no coffee, no bread, no were to sit and so on. The train and street you hear all night. The room smelled terrible. Do not book this hotell!!

Clumsy accommodations, lousy breakfast. If you only need to crash for a single night and you are alone this hotel might be right for you. However you must also be a deep sleeper because 300 feet to the south cargo trains pass every 15 minutes. Don’t go with your family. The pool has been covered and none functional for many months.

While in Flagstaff, we stayed at two different travelodges. Both hotels were old, shabby, and poorly maintained. The Pools for both were closed. In the case of the second travelodge, this one in particular, the room was small and smelled horribly of stale urine. I will never again stay in a Travelodge hotel.

I usually don't write reviews, but this hotel was bad enough to write one. I stayed there for my Graduation because it was one of the only hotels left that was not booked. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and bouncy. The fridge made noise all night long, in two different rooms after we had switched from our first room. The second room reaked of […] smoke, even though it said non-smoking. There was a posionous spider in our bathtub. The continental breakfast consisted of 2 cereal choices and a muffin. There wasn't even water available. The pool wasn't open. The train across the street made noise also all night long. Basically, it's impossible to sleep well there. The only redeeming quality was the fact that they had internet access available in the rooms, but most hotels have that these days. Read more
