Great room for the price. I had to put a rolled up towel at the base of the front door because there was a gap from the floor to the door where cold air blew in. Other than that it was fine. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The AC/Heat unit is the older style that is underneath the window. This isn't a problem, but your room may be freezing when you enter at winter time. I'm not sure how they got a 3.9 rating! The hotel is old, entrances on outside, steps no elevator. Rooms are small, furniture old and dirty, carpet very dirty, old and stained. Everything just felt worn out. The only redeeming quality was the mattress! It was not as hard as most and actually felt like a pillow-top or foam top mattress, what a surprise! I was medically disabled. I told the front desk my ride would be here at 11:45am & check out was at 11am. It gets pretty cold in Flagstaff and took about 3 hours for the room to be warm enough to take off my jacket. It was a good thing I brought my own blankets too. Did not get a non smoking room, the service was okay. The clerk at the front desk said she had to give me a smoking room because it was all she had. The room was rank, dirty and filthy. The bed was in bad shape, sunken in, in the middle. The bathtube was black and dirty in the bottom with a shower curtain that someone had blown their nose in and left […] it. "Unbelievable for low price."
Its a HoJo's, but everything was fine. great location plenty of space in the room. I was holed up for three night to study for exams at NAU. Room had a refrigerator, microwave, small dinette table. Large corner two level workspace. Great for studying. Wireless internet and cable with HBO, Showtime included in price. Breakfast from 6-9 each day and free […] USA today for the taking. You would pay more for the extras at a Marriott than the room cost here on Hotels.com. Bedding wasn't great but bed was very comfortable. Brought my own pillow. I will be staying for a month straight in summer during NAU summer session. Highly recommend if your not looking for 4 star hotel and just need a comfortable convenient place to spend a few nights. The physical part of this hotel is not a 5. If that is your expectation when you arrive you will be disappointed. This hotel is old and needs a rehab. The rooms and furniture are old and it shows. However, the hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. I have stayed here before and use this as a place to essentially sleep a few hours and take a […] shower. It is perfect as a base to travel around the area. If you like modern, newer, etc... this isn't your place. But at half the rate of a Courtyard, Garden Inn, etc.... it works great for me. "Very Good"
The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. She asked how I was doing each day that I came in for breakfast and remembered me. She gave me a room with a new refrigerator and microwave and two queens. The room was cleaned extremely well. The beds were SSOO comfy, like high quality hotels, and when I checked out I told her about them and she said […] they had just received new mattresses!!! There was free internet in the room and cable. Both worked excellent. I didn't even realize that we were next to the railroad, because I didn't hear it ONCE aside from when I first arrived and I was outside. Never heard it again and I was there for 4 days!! The hotel is located in a cul de sac with other hotels and there are food places around, Dennys being popular. Only thing I didn't enjoy were the bathroom. The bath mat was taken out but it must have been there forever because the sticky part remained stuck to the bottom completely! The wall paper was worn in, and honestly I really enjoy hotels for their bed and bath so that wasn't the greatest. But since I wasn't in there often it made due. The breakfast wasn't much of anything besides miniature bagels and donuts, A few fruit were put out and 2 types of cereal and waffels you made yourself.
