"Good deal for the money!"
Didnt have toilet paper the first day but they ran it right up when I called the front desk. The building (stairs) in disrepair. Having a live music place next door was a issue when you need to sleep for work as they played till 2am a few nights. The good out weighed the bad as the room was very clean and smelt clean. The beds were pillow topped and […] very comfortable and the pillows were soft and comfortable. Nice layout with night stand, table with lamp worked great for my laptop and overall work space, bench for my suitcase, coffee pot, ironing board and iron, cable tv, A/C and heat worked great. The train noise didn't bother me, but others might be bothered by it. Hotel was alright for what we needed, just a place to lay our heads for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Hotel needs some work done on it, but overall was clean.Genuine Expedia guest review

"HO JO Stay"
The room was OK for place to stay but first the key did not work and had to get another. Second the door was very hard to open and close. Third on our third night stay when we returned to the room the room was not made up and when we complained to the management they said oops. Fourth the fire alarm started to beep and went off, when we inquired about […] it they said it was nothing and if it went out again to disconnect it. I would probably find a Motel 6 or Travel lodge on my next stay there as all I need is a clean room and a clean bead to stay. "Grand Canyon Trip"
I stayed here as a staging point for my trip to the Grand Canyon. The town of Flagstaff is lovely. There are a lot of great little shops and it's quite picturesque with the mountains in the background. It really is driving distance to the town centre, although there is a supermarket nearby and a diner open from 6am-9pm just out the front of the hotel […] (the Belgian waffle with fruit and maple syrup was delicious). The staff were lovely. Unfortunately there were no rooms available on the bottom floor, and with no lift, I decided to leave my 35kg suitcase in the boot of my hire car. I was also disappointed that I was never asked if I'd prefer a non-smoking room. My room had clearly had smokers in it previously, it stank so bad. So bad, in fact that my nose actually hurt after 10mins in the room! But I should have asked to move rooms.
