"Excellent Overall Value"
I booked this trip for an overnight while I interviewed for a position at NAU. The large king bed room had everything one would need for an extended stay. Comfortable furniture including a chair, 2 tables, and a lounger with an ottoman; appliances included a refrigerator, microwave, TV with cable + HBO, and alarm clock. The only real downside shows […] up in the bathroom. The ceiling is barely 7' and the shower head can make it difficult if you are over 5'6". I'm 5'11 and had to back bend in order to rinse my hair and crouch to rinse my face. Due to the low ceiling I did feel a little claustrophobic but all-in-all it was manageable. The location was excellent, within walking distance of a shopping of the Plaza Safeway shopping center, Galaxy Diner, the Flagstaff Athletic Center, and minutes from downtown. "Good for 1 or 2 Nights"
Room was nice and clean. Motel was near food and fun places. For some reason the hallways were not lighted? Came back to our room after dinner in the dark and no lights were on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Location was good. Person on reception was helpful in showing us the best place to go for dinner. breakfast was lame...could do with adding warmer food especially during winter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Basic Needs Met"
This hotel was clean and we were very pleased with the room. However, the continental breakfast was terrible. Had nothing but carbohydrates. Toast, muffins, waffles, donuts, and sugary cereal. No fruit. Not even peanut butter to spread on the toast. Orange juice was watered down about 50%. At least 6 cups of wasted juice were sitting on top of the trash […] can when I was there, as people were not able to drink it and were sitting full cups of it there. Hostess at breakfast was busy talking on her blue tooth and guests had to keep asking her to replenish the food. We had to clean our own table as all of the empty tables were very dirty. We were very disappointed in the breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable for a family."
We had 2 adjoining rooms and it was convenient for our party. Our stay was comfortable. The cleaning persons were accommodating. Staff was helpful. Continental breakfast was ok but nothing special. For the price it was good. Hotel provided microwave and refrigerator on request.Genuine Expedia guest review

Mostly everything was good. What really put it down was the fact that I had to stand in line for 25 minutes to get breakfast. That is waaaay too long!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Online reservation requests NOT RECEIVED"
We made our reservations through the Hotel.com app and selected a 1st floor room with queen beds. Upon check in our room was not ready until 4pm and the front desk informed us of our invalid request due to sold out rooms and no availability. I presented a copy of our requests made through hotels.com and the front desk continued to state they do not […] receive those details in their system when a reservation is made through hotels.com We settled for a second floor room with FULL sized beds!!! Although the property, lounge area and breakfast was nice, it was over shadowed by the discomfort of not getting a restful sleep. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Far from the highway. Once I reached the hotel, the lobby was dark and I had to call out hello loudly before the desk clerk came from a dark back room. The room was very old and not updated. It is pet friendly but everywhere there is grass, there are signs that say do not allow your pet on the grass or no pets on grass. Defeats the purpose of being […] pet friendly and pets are not allowed in the lobby. Would not stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Days Inn is located near train tracks"
While my room is clean, the continental breakfast is good. I had to go and ask them to check my keycard twice because I had trouble getting into the room. The hotel is located near train tracks, so if you are a light sleeper (like me), I don't recommend staying there because of the loud train noise. Benadryl did help me fall asleep though. Overall, […] the stay was good except the door and the noise. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"You got what you pay!!!!!"
The room was smelling funy and a bit out dated....Genuine Expedia guest review
Had reservations and arrived after 2pm. Front desk person said we would have to come back at 3 to get a room. When we came back at 3, the man now at the front desk was extremely hard to understand. Luckily the key had the room number on it so we knew where to go. The breakfast area was nice, but the staff seemed to want to ignor the clients. Would stay […] elsewhere next time. "Disappointing stay in Flagstaff"
Although the lobby area was up-to-date, the room itself and the building with the rooms were not very well maintained. Furthermore, there was 1 bed missing for our 5-member family, so we had to ask for a roll-in bed for which we were charged $ 10/day plus taxes. A large group from a bus tour checked out rather early and made a lot of noise, as a result […] our second night in the hotel was nog the most pleasant one. "Good enough."
No frills, and relatively quiet (you get some train noise but it's hard to find anywhere in Flagstaff that doesn't). Nobody was at the desk when we came in, and there were three rooms worth of people waiting for someone to show up. They gave us a room key to a room that (it turned out) was being cleaned at that moment. The complementary breakfast was […] toast and jelly or cereal, unless you wanted to take the time to jockey for the waffle maker. These are minor quibbles, overall, though. We slept fine and were gone the next morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"So-so"
We were looking for an inexpensive stay and we found it. Having said that, I also should tell you that the beds were uncomfortable - old, hard mattresses. The room was clean, but there was a large rip in the carpet, however it was in a corner and out of the way; just kind of weird that they wouldn't have repaired it. The rooms were fairly large, which […] worked well for us. The room door was difficult to close properly; my husband had to throw his weight against it to lock it. The room had a small microwave and a small refrigerator, which we didn't expect, so that was nice. We had free wireless internet that worked well. The staff were all very aloof. No one who worked there seemed to be happy or even pleasant. The only person who had any personality was the woman that worked at the free continental breakfast area. The breakfast was decent; coffee, tea, orange juice, bagels, cream cheese, toast, butter, jam, selection of cold cereal and milk, doughnuts, apples, and make-yourself fresh Belgian waffles. We were going to a campus visit at NAU and it was very close to the campus, so that was a plus for us. There are so many choices in Flagstaff that I probably won't stay there again. "Run down but worth the $$"
The hotel was pretty clean but there was a hole in the wall in our room and the bedspread had a tear in it like it had been cut with a knife. The location was awesome. We were close to everything! If you're just looking for a place to sleep and take a shower then I would recommend this place. The beds weren't too comfortable but it was well worth […] the money spent for the weekend. Certaily not luxurious, but the price is right! The microwave in the room did not work and the ice machine was "off", but hard to beat for the price, especially with pets!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not perfect"
For the price I put up with minor inconviences. Like hot water was broken one night. The two ply toilet paper was not correctly lined up and shredded when you ripped it and it was coarse. I guess I could have tried the spare roll to see if it was better. I ordered two queen rooms to next to each other with connecting door. I had to be moved into room […] with two full beds to have connecting room. Clerk didn't program room key correctly after move and I was locked out on the second day and had to have keys redone. "Flagstaff Days Inn"
I can only compare to the one in Prescott, AZ that I stayed in during the past month. This one had no Jacuzzi. This one provided no bottled water in the room. The towels were worn out. "Good for a quick vacation get away"
The guy at the front dest made us wait 20 mins while he answered the phones before we could finally check in, good thin the lobby was nice so we had stuff to look at. In the rooms it was the most basic that you can get, really nice big tv's though. It was a nice place to stay was very cozy. But I reccomend planning to eat at a diner or something for […] breakfast because it was just horrible... they had nothing stocked and watered down waffle mix, and not a very good selection, and the toster was from like the 1920's but although the food sucked the staff was very friendly. "Days Inn - Flagstaff Route 66 - Unaccomodating"
Four of us recently stayed at this hotel while attending the Flagstaff Made In the Shade Beer Tasting Festival. The festival started at 1pm, yet this hotel's (incredibly strict) policy is for guests to check-in at 3pm. After a few phone calls leading up to our stay and an hour or two of haggling, the owner at last realized that he is in the HOSPITALITY […] industry, and the cleaning staff was finally asked to prepare our room. (They even left a large ball of soiled linens on the sitting chair, which was a nice touch.) Thankfully, we only missed the first hour of the festival. The unwillingness of this hotel owner to accomodate a very routine and simple request ensured that this will be our last stay at this hotel. There are dozens of other options available in the area - pay the extra $15 or $20 and avoid this hotel and the not-so-sunny disposition of its owner. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Won't stay there again"
Ok, really it's not THAT BAD. But there are so many other motels to choose from in Flagstaff. It's very standard and basic. But the thing that creeps me out is after my kids were running around our room for the night, their feet were so dirty. Yeah, that's from the floors of the carpeted rooms. "Other than booking us into a smoking room, the stay was enjoyable."
Upon checking in, we discovered that we were assigned a smoking room. It took $25 to change to a non-smoking room. When I booked the reservation online, I didn't see where there was a box to check fot a non-smooking room. After changing to a non-smoking room, the stay was enjoyable. I think that it was more Expedia's fault to assign a smoking room to […] us, than it was the fault of the motel. If there was a box to check for a non-smoking room, I wish it would be made more clear. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"It was 'just ok', bordering on yucky"
We are really not picky and don't often complain, and for the lowball price, and the fact that we've heard that it's more common than not for a Flagstaff hotel/motel to be old and run down, I guess we shouldn't complain, but... When we walked in, there was an older couple ahead of us who had booked online and something was wrong with their reservation. […] They were very calm and nice, but bascially got an "I don't want any trouble" response from the man at the desk. Meanwhile, we were completely ignored - not even a "we'll be right with you." When it was our turn, the man got us checked in right away, but was very unfriendly - barely a hello, and absolutely no info about the hotel offered at all. "You're in room blah, blah, blah and it's over there". That was it. The room was clean, but old and shabby. No iron/ironing board. We had to play around with what appeared to be a newer ac/heat unit to get it to work properly. Cable connection to the TV was loose and broken, so barely any reception on majority of channels. Complimentary "breakfast" was almost not worth it, even for free. Not even a piece of fruit, didn't seem very clean, and it looked like the woman who was restocking/cleaning up was putting exposed pastry/bread items back in their bags to be used again the next day. The location was very convenient - right near the college and historic downtown - but for our money, the Super 8 we stayed at on the other side of Flagstaff was far nicer, newer, cleaner.
