"It's inexpensive for a reason..."
Just keep driving past this one. The room appeared to be clean, but had a VERY strong bleach odor. There was mold and mildew throughout the room and the carpet felt like it was wet even though it wasn't.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

To be honest, the sheets looked liked they were not professionally cleaned. The pillows were SO dirty I had to asked for another. The desk clerk was not so courteous, he was more into the NFL games when I checked in. "Ice Berg Hotel"
When we arrived we went to our room and it was not ready. We had to get another room only to find out that the only rooms left were upstairs which only come with space heaters. "Threadbare, needs work, not clean"
Not clean, sheets threadbare, pillows stained. Carpet stained, walls need cleaning and new paint. Room noisy, could hear goings on in the next room. Checking in clerk on in the evening, very curt and we felt we were distracting him from what he really wanted to do. "The Tale of 2 Rooms"
We stayed 2 nights here to see the NFL Training camp practice here in Flagstaff. We came in late on Friday and had a horrible experience after checking in and seeing our room. We had booked a room we were told would have a roll-away bed waiting in it and 2 queens for 2 adults and 3 children. We were also told we would have a microwave and small fridge. […] We had no rollaway, fridge or microwave. No biggie we can live without the microwave and fridge but needed the rollaway. The front desk told us there would be an extra charge for them to bring the rollaway even though when booking we were told there wouldnt. They brought the bed except for one problem. It wouldn't fit in the dinky room they gave us. Also the 2 "queen beds" were actually 2 full size beds. We had to move the table into the bathroom to get the bed down and then nobody could go into the bathroom without crawling over or under the table. It was a mess. The worse part was the girl at the front desk first told me "all the rooms were same size". We were eventually able to get her to admit there were these other rooms that had microwaves, fridges, queen size beds and room for a rollaway but they were all given out to others. The second day we stayed they did move us into the correct room and After contacting Hotels.com they credited us with one night. "Not Recommended."
The room was very dirty. I had requested a non-smoking room and was put in a smoking room. By the second night my young son had a terrible time dealing with the odor and when approached they said there was nothing they could do. The picture of the room, upon booking showed a microwave and fridge, all of which were actually in the lobby, not the room. […] The pool was tiny, not as shown on the website. The worst front desk service we have ever received. The clerk couldn't have been more put out to check us in to a room that wasn't even cleaned. "Avoid"
The staff wasn't friendly at all like the reviews I read said. My room lock did not work. She was not able to make new keys (because it was the door not the keys) therefore every time I needed to get into my room I had to go ask her to walk down and open it with her master key. It was a huge inconvienience and they did nothing to apologize for the hassle. […] Avoid rm 116. The beds were very uncomfortable. The breakfast consisted of bad coffee, bread for toast english muffins, mini muffins and apples. "Scary"

"Hot and mildewy..."
We have stayed here before but this time there were computer issues upon check in and the manager was not very friendly...probably stressed due to the computer. Our room was on central heating and was stifling...I had to open the door several times during the night because I was so hot. The bathroom had mildew on the ceilings and there was peeling paint […] with a shallow hole on the bathroom wall as well. The "free internet" never let us connect, the three days we were there. Clean hotel with basic amenities. Towels were frayed, but clean. Sheets were rough, but again clean. Only three pillows, not the usual four, so watching tv was out for one of us. Loved the notice that so many people loved their super thin frayed towels that they were going to charge you for them at $12 each if they were taken. Mattress was fine and […] the light coming around the curtains did not keep me up. Breakfast was from the poorer part of the continent: toast, hot oatmeal packets, the world's tiniest blueberry muffins, apples and oranges. The orange juice was good. Overall, if you are looking for a place to sleep on the way back to California, this will do, but expect the bare minimum. They got the "Economy" part of the name down well, but not the price. "Need a better continental breakfast"
The room was clean and comfortable. Didn't use the pool. The 'continental breakfast' was a joke. It consisted of: stale bread and muffins, butter, jelly, coffee and juice. No fruit and no milk.
