I researched this hotel well before making the reservation and was very pleased with my stay. Room was extremely clean and the service was great! I was picking up a family member in LaGrange and wanted extra room. My room was on the third flood and was a one bedroom guest room that had a living area separate from the bedroom with a door that separated […] the two areas. The room had a king size bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room area. One advantage was the extra pillows and blankets that were stored in the room. I also was very pleased with the two flat screen TV's! One in the living room area and one in the bedroom! There was a great deal of lighting with lights on the celling plus many lamps. The hotel is set off the road as noted in other reviews. I would not have walked to the restaurants nearby (though it could be done) for I was tired from the trip, but did not mind getting in the car and driving 30 seconds to eat! Came to check in at 2:45pm and the desk agent, Jennifer? told us that our room was not ready and it would be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later our assigned room still was not ready. They block the rooms for incoming guests and I asked her to re-block another guest and to give us a room that was ready. We stayed in room 401. The bathroom was dirty. Behind […] the door dirt, hair and other debris. Under the sink in the corner there was black mold. In the tub mold and mildew. Shower curtain too short. Back of bathroom door dried drippings of something. Bed made poorly, the bed skirt was half way on the floor between the beds. Asked to see what time Starbucks was open Sunday morning and another desk agent told me 5:30am. Guess what? We went at 6:15am and it was closed and not open until 7am. Wrong information. Beds were comfortable but the linens are not large enough for the bed. It was a fight all night for the top sheet in a queen size bed. Hotel was clean and staff friendly . Hotel was just off of main road, not on it, so it was a lot quieter. Not far enough off to be inconvenient though. Lobby and staff very warm and inviting. Room was clean and comfy.
