Nice jr suite, TV, music and bed. Included breakfast was a plus with some good choices. The only frustration was getting a cab hailed when in a hurry. That part of the service needs help. Most hotels have cabs standing by, this was never the case over a 5 day stay. Most mornings I was unsure whether I'd get the cab on time. Even though I did not spend too much time in room I am extremely satisfied with services provided @ Fairmont Battery Warf. The room was very clean, everything worked well ( TV, fridge, bath faucets etc). The parking is a bit expensive but it seems that parking is a real issue even for those who live in Boston. "Perfect Hotel, Perfect Location"
This was my husband and my second time at Battery Wharf. The service was exceptional. The room was perfect. Valet parking is pricey at $42 per day but that is normal for Boston. We arrived 1 1/2 hours early and was fortunate to be able to check in early. The location is absolutely wonderful! (10 minute walk to TD Bank Garden, 2 minute walk to Hanover […] Street). "There were some disappointmenst"
There were a couple of things that were very disappointing...the toilet was running when I entered the room. Later it overflowed because it didnt' stop running. There was trash in the trash can when I checked in. There was a beautiful gym that the hotel had reciprocal arrangements with while hotel gym is under construction. I was not given a reference […] to use that gym and instead was referred to a small room in the hotel with a few pieces of aerobic equipment. That was extremely disappointing. "Superb addition to Boston hotel"
The Fairmont Battery Wharf is an excellent hotel. Stayed there for a night and was truly impressed. I visit Boston frequently and usually stay at the Four Seasons. I have also stayed many times at most of the other top hotels in the city (new and old Ritz Carltons, Liberty Hotel, Boston Harbor, Intercontinental, Mandarin Oriental,15 Beacon, Eliot, Charles […] Hotel, etc.). For convenience (dinner in the North End), I tried the Fairmont this past trip. Rooms are lovely - modern, but sumptuous decor, great views, lots of conveniences (including an espresso maker). Staff were extremely helpful and efficient, despite having to operate in the middle of yet another blizzard. Other facilities were all top notch. All in all, an excellent stay and a hotel that truly deserves to claim a place in the top rung. In addition, the expedia price was excellent of a hotel of this caliber. Both the hotel and its location are quiet. The cab ride in from Logan took only a few minutes. I enjoyed the stay, was there on business. Cabs can be a bit tricky to get. Not much around the area within walking distance. But very comfortable, very quiet, food at the hotel was excellent (but pricey, as you would expect). For business stays, it's great. "Don't bring a car to the Fairmont Battery Warf"
Not only is parking $42 a day but they lost my car twice...yes twice and I had to walk to dinner. The wait for your car after calling the valet was at least 30 minutes. Many of the hotel guests were complaining. Upon asking the hotel staff, I heard that they do not own the garage and therefore can not fix the problem. I asked for the $42 to be removed […] from my bill (since they did not perform and lost the car twice) but they refused. I would not stay there again. In addition, the internet is $14.95 per day. I need this for work and it is just irrational in this day and age to charge $14.95 for wireless internet that costs them next to nothing.
