The hotel worked well for me. The room was pleasant and clean. I was surprised that it was an historic building, completely redone in 2004 as with some... European hotels. The building, itself, was well over 100 years old, built in Boston's heyday for' gentlemen of the better classes' who moved to the city to work in commercial enterprises in the 1880's. The desk staff was very cheerful and helpful. I was able to get into my room around 1 pm, well before a requested early arrival of 2. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 22, 2012
