Pros: Room was Huge and nice (especially if you like old school design and individualized rooms), location was to die for, hassle was minimal and there... was even a Wagner Society concert on Saturday evening that provided a nice background sound while we were getting ready for a night out. Cons: Elevator is small and old, free breakfast is somewhat limited (if you want something hot, it will need to fit in their toaster) and checkout is 11am. We very much enjoyed our stay, in a different type of accomodation.The welcome was truly personal and we were literally made to feel very much at home. It is of course a unique site, with a long history. The location, just at the edge of Boston Common could not be more central; but for all of that it is off a main thorough fare and thus quite quiet. […] There is only a continental breakfast available on site, but teas and coffee through out the day. The central location means that there is access to a huge variety of resteraunts. The Club is of course not suited to everyone; I would suggest it suits the mature traveller - and by this I mean those with mature attitudes, not necessarily those of age! All in all, I would heartily reccommend this location. Read more
