Boston’s centerpiece is the Common, America’s oldest public park. The park features a historic graveyard, Swan Boats, and the Frog Pond—an ice skating rink in the winter. The gold dome of the state house sits above the common. The area is heavy with history, and visitors can find references to founding fathers even among the modern buildings of the Theatre District and Downtown Crossing.see all hotels in Boston
the location is convenient because several T station are around. The hotel offers free Wifi and they have complementary water station every floor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great central location"
Club Quarters Boston was in a great location close to everything. The room was small but comfortable and the bottled water was a nice touch. I would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Thomas from New York - Very good hotel & friendly"
The welcome we received from Sal, and at our departure was extraordinary. Ms. Madrid was also very helpful. The hotel's downtown location is perfect, and close to all major Trail attractions, metro, and Amtrak South Station. It is in a quiet area though in the city center. The price is value for money. I strongly recommend it for families, couples or […] even singles. Thomas P. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel - bad parking"
Good hotel. Terrible parking. There are no in and out privileges. Unless you really need one skip the car and take the T. Otherwise, this is a quality choice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location in Boston"
Room was much smaller than expected and room doors are really close to one another. No remote control for tv, and TV's are really small.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Didn't get the best room"
I stayed here before. Both times the rate and the location can't be beat. However this time my room was 50% smaller than the last time. Try not to get one of the smaller rooms located in the corner of the floor. They are not layed out as well and are much smaller.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
this hotel is in the best location in Boston Restaurants, Stores Metro 1/2 block away I definitely stay againGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good location and pleasant accommodations"
I've stayed at this location several times and it always meets my expectations. It's clearly on my shortlist. I'll be back again.Genuine Expedia guest review
I know the Boston area, so I picked the hotel on the location. We were less than 10 minutes away from the Boston Opera House which was our reason for going down for the night. It is also less than 10 minutes to Faneuil Marketplace. Shopping is around the corner on Washington Street. Hotel staff was very helpful on giving us advice on a crisis situation […] that we had. Offered some additional help if we did not have any luck picking up what we needed at the pharmacy. The TV is a little awkwardly setup, but that is about the only complaint I have. Room has a full kitchenette for longer stays. The real gem though, was the restaurant connected to the hotel. Elephant & Castle. Truly have to say, thought I would pay a heck of a lot more for a pub meal in a downtown restaurant, but it was more than reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"nice for 1night."
Glad we had gps as it was difficult maneuvering through 1way streets to get to hotel. Parking for one night was reasonable at 16.00 US per night on the weekend. Room was smallish and dark styled for business traveler. Bathroom large enough nice big shower. No tub. Sheets on bed 60% cotton 40% polyester. The noise they made every time we moved kept us […] awake. Otherwise the beds were comfy. Stray hairs in the bathroom and on the rug show rushed housekeeping. Wifi connection was slow. Difficult to understand front desk staff. But very pleasant. This hotel was near to everything touristy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value for the location"
We stayed at CQ to be walking distance from the downtown action, without spending a small fortune. The room is not very large and no-frills, definitely not what I would call romantic, but if you want a comfortable place to crash downtown at a reasonable price, I highly recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small Place But Good Overall"
The location of this hotel is walking distance to a lot of historical sites, restaurants, and shopping. The service is great overall and I liked the unique aspects of Club Quarters that I hadn't encountered at other hotels, such as the bottled water in the hallways, the snacks and drinks in the lobby, and the service closet on every floor. However, […] even after reading other reviews about the small size of the rooms, I was still surprised at how small they really were. The bathroom is especially small. I think the rooms are definitely fine for a single traveler, but a little cramped for more than one person. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to everything"
Great location: walk to Quincy Market, Aquarium, waterfront, parks, shopping and restaurants. Nice lobby, great gathering room off lobby with complimentary coffee/latte/expresso machine, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff very helpful. Great value for location. The only negative I have to say is that we were charged $35.00 to check in early. The room […] was ready, but we were charged. Never had a hotel do this before, if the room is ready they always let you in. We had two small children with us and wanted to put our stuff in a room before setting off for the day. Other than that I recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Club Quarters is convenient to Logan Airport and downtown Boston. I enjoyed the club atmosphere and the pub/restaurant next door. There is a 10% discount for CQ guests, and the food is good. We spent our time walking around Boston and found ransportation and location excellent. It was quiet and secure. The Club Room downstairs had coffees and snacks […] that were handy. "Close to my Client Office"
My client office is in nearby. So, it was easy for me. I stayed with my 3 year old kid. So, kitchenette was very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good things come in small packages"
I was very anxious about staying there after reading a few "not so glowing" reviews, including a report of bedbugs. But found everything to be delightful from check-in to check-out. I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Club Quarters was really nice and the staff was friendly and very helpful at all times. The room was clean and housekeeping came at the same time everyday which was nice because nothing was unexpected. The room is not as small as some other reviewers were saying and the noise level is not bad either (11th floor). Then again, my girlfriend and I are […] both used to the hotel room sizes of NYC and the general noise of the city so the size of the room and noise level were complete non-issues. The only drawback was the location of the hotel which is in the Financial District. This part of the city is very nice and clean but is almost completely empty on weekends and evenings (which is when we stayed). It is a little eerie walking back to the hotel with no one else around for blocks but at the same time there are no shady looking people around either. It was also a little tough finding places to eat around the hotel after 10 pm because everything closed in the area. Sunday was a similar story with closed restaurants but I was informed that all of Boston does this. Besides that, everything was great and the hotel is just a few blocks from both the New England Aquarium and Faneuil Hall. If you don't mind a quieter location for your hotel, feel free to book this one! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good choice for business travelers in Boston"
Club Quarters in downtown Boston is a conveniently located, business oriented hotel. The price was very reasonable for a clean, comfortable room, unlimited free purified water, complimentary snacks and a decent hotel fitness center. Only downside is there are no chains on the guest room doors - which doesn't make a female traveler feel very safe.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Room for improvement"
Commonly used room items such as towels and coffee were not restocked after housekeeping cleaned our room. We were told when we checked in that our floor had a supply closet with extra towels, coffee, soap, etc. but when we looked there were no towels. Free purified water on each floor was nice, as was the free coffee, soda and breakfast bars in the […] lobby. Staff was mostly pleasant and very helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Swank, so expect snobs"
The first thing I thought of when checking in and entering my room: SWANK. This hotel has all the markings of a posh, upscale place, right down to the relatively snotty and not helpful staff, save a few. The only real problem faced was I received a room with one bed when I had reserved two. Because there wasn't another room available, I was told upon […] check-in that a roll-away would be sent right up. I was okay with at. After an hour, I had to leave and on my way out reminded the front desk that I would still need the second bed. Again I was told no problem. When I returned 8 hours later (11:45pm), the additional bed had STILL not been delivered. A call to the front desk was met with a rather rude tone and a response of "we'll get it right up there." After yet another wait of 45 minutes, a second call was made to the front desk about the bed. This time the staff member kept me on the line while they called maintenance (?) via walkie-talkie. Whoever was on the other end of said walkie-talkie was beyond rude to the staff member who, of course passed that on to me. The second bed arrived at 12:45am. Original check-in was 3:30pm the previous day. Sadly, there is no breakfast service in the lobby area during the week. Thankfully, there was one employee on staff in the morning who was most helpful which essentially rounded out my stay. With discounts, the room was cheap enough for what I received. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night before an event in the city. We were surprised at how close we were to Quincy market and the back bay even though we were in the financial district. The hotel staff is beyond friendly and our room, though on the smaller side, had a king size bed(we had reserved a queen), and everything was spotless. We loved […] the water purifiers and bottles on each floor. I would definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was nice and front desk staff was wonderful. We opted for the "semi eco-friendly" room sevice. Made bed, no new towels or sheets, but our room was not vacummed at all, we didn't new soap despite using what we had, and the sink and toilet weren't cleaned. The room however was comfortable and the hotel was cleanGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel for tourists & business travelers alike"
I recently stayed at the Club Quarters in Boston for a one-night stay to do some sightseeing while in the city. Though the Club Quarters is definitely aimed at the business traveler, you do not need to be in the city for work purposes to enjoy your stay here! Some other reviewers mentioned that it is a little tough to find, which is true, particularly […] because they are on a one-way street, and the entrance is fairly small, but once we were there, it was great. The location is very central within the city, just a short walk to Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, and other Boston landmarks. The rooms are pretty small (especially the bathroom), but this is what I expect in an older building in an older city. They did make good use of the space though, with a mounted flat screen tv, desk, etc. Everything was clean and in good repair. Loved the filtered water and water bottles on each floor - great touch! Got to see every thing we wanted to see staying at this location. The staff was great. The bed was a little too hard for us and the TV was placed over the desk opposed to being in front of the bed, so it was a little awkward to watch. Someone had commented about not having an ice machine but there is one on the second floor...just have to ask to get […] the answers you need. Four days afterward we got billed $90 extra; I called and they informed that is standard practice for possible damages that might be in the room. They did inform me that money would be returned to our account if the is no finding in four to five days. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Faneuil/Quincy"
Club Quarters is a rock solid place to stay downtown. Clean, well maintained. Short walk to Quincy Market/ Long Wharf. Nice having the Elephant and Castle Pub right downstairs. Room, bed, bathroom all good. My only complaint is that the TV in room is too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice location. Excellent staff"
The location is perfect. You are very close to the most important attractions in Boston. Subway stations very close as well. The staff is excellent. They are very helping people. The Hotel has a check in system that you can do it by your own, which is perfect and save you time. However there is a concierge in case you need help. About the rooms, maybe […] they are little small, but they are ok, maybe because I use them to go to sleep, so I do not need too much space when I stay in hotels. The hotel also offers a "water filter" for free, so you can have purified water at any time. In overall I liked to stay there. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, free chilled water"
Great location in Boston. Offers free chilled water on each floor. Not a fan of the self check-in/out (I would rather be greeted). Nice restaurant/bar next door. Parking garage is close (<5 min walk) but due to its location, a bit pricey.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great night's sleep"
Great location in financial section of Boston. Note that there are limited neighborhood restaurants in the evening (most open only breakfast and lunch). Walking distance from Amtrak, metro stations very nearby. Rooms are not spacious -- relatively small but very adequate for one person -- but very nicely done and clean. Bed was quite comfortable. No […] views from the room except building across the street :) but if you're looking for an inexpensive but very nice place to sleep in downtown Boston, this is a good deal. "Good for business travelers"
Small but comfortable and efficiently organized room. About right for the business traveler who only goes there to sleep and shower. The bathroom was very small and the bathroom door had to be propped to stay open. The shower had enough room and the water pressure and temperature were excellent.Genuine Expedia guest review

Club Quarters in Boston has an excellent location in the Financial District, 5 minutes walk from South Station rail and the T, with a direct link on the Silver Line to the airport; and easy access to other parts of downtown Boston, Cambridge and the suburbs. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and the room cleaning staff were especially cheerful […] and efficient. My room (1111) was fairly spacious and comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed, lounge chair and a desk/table and chairs. I found the temperature regulation in the room somewhat erratic and noisy. The bed mattress was a little hard for my taste but may suit others. I would have preferred a thicker/softer duvet. I was not troubled by any external noise, so apart from the noise of the heating/air conditioning system I slept undisturbed. The bathroom vanity area was minimal but the shower excellent. I had a room with kitchenette, which was equipped with a microwave oven, refrigerator and a few plates and utensils. I asked for a toaster but was informed these were not permitted for fire safety. Coffee was available 24hrs in the lounge/lobby area; and two computers, handy for printing boarding passes. The hotel adjoins a pub/restaurant for meals including breakfast but I did not use this facility. On balance, mainly due to the convenience of the location for travel between the airport and other destinations by rail, and despite the high price - especially on weekdays - I would happily stay here again. "Boston Weekend on a Budget"
As a frequent Boston traveler who spends minimal time in the room, this hotel fits the bill for good price and clean, comfortable accommodations. The room and bathroom are very small but immaculate with comfy bedding. There is free wi-fi and nice setup in the lobby for free coffee, espresso and cappuccino. The downtown location is convenient to Quincy […] market, Freedom Trail and Boston Common.
