"Bad TV"

"Great Front Desk Staff"
I stayed here while attending the Boston Wine Expo as an exhibitor. Chris at the front desk was patient and kind when I called to ask directions for the second time. I had become totally lost in Boston. He stayed on the phone with me, and talked to me turn by turn until I was literally at the front door!! He checked me in, and said he was giving me […] a big room, since I had a rough day. The room was huge and beautiful- great sound proofing too. He was also kind enough to direct me to a reasonably priced public parking facility- valet was not in my budget! Downside was fire alarm sounding, shutting down the elevators on Check out morning- had to walk down 12 flights to get to the lobby, but that isn't the hotels fault. That's a safety precaution. Service at the Hilton was excellent. The concierge provided me with an umbrella for a rainy night. I returned the umbrella the next day. The only problem was the tub did not drain fast enough so there was a large build up of water in the tub while I was taking my shower. Overall, this is a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The only drawback was the scaffolding on parts of the facade. "The Boston Hiltion - As dirty as a barn"

The front desk was not very polite about the fact that they didn't have any rooms with double beds, which we had requested. "Good price and good location - can't go wrong"
I chose this hotel because of its very convenient location as well as reasonable price. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! While it is an older hotel, it's kept up quite well and adequate for my needs. There were some signs of wear here and there but nothing too obvious that I saw. My 14th floor, north-facing room was huge and the view was great. […] Some reviews complain of paper thin walls, but honestly that wasn't my experience at all. Maybe nobody was staying next to me? I don't know, but I found my room to be very nice and quiet during my entire stay. The location is awesome - it's a quick walk to Fanueil Hall and the shops/sites around there. Everything at this hotel was nice. Just what you expect from a Hilton Hotel. My only complaint was that my room was located across the street from a loud dance club and from 11-2 am I could feel the bass of the sound system coming through my walls.
