This 11-story property offers 285 nonsmoking guestrooms decorated in tones of espresso, khaki and chocolate, with splashes of purple accents. Rooms display a harmony of geometric patterns, blonde woods and chrome fittings. Beds flanked with individual reading lights feature pillowtop mattresses, down comforters and 330-thread count linens. Select rooms are furnished with sofa beds. Marble bathrooms contain bathrobes, makeup mirrors, rainfall showerheads and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Single-serve beverage makers brew Keurig gourmet coffee or hot chocolate. Accommodations include flat-screen televisions with DVD players, MP3 adaptors, and high-speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee.

Brasserie Jo - This Parisian-style bistro offers authentic regional French cuisine for all meals. The menu includes chocolate french toast with almonds for breakfast and brunch, croque monsieur sandwiches for lunch, and coq au vin for dinner. There is also an extensive wine list and beer brewed from Alsatian hops.
The Colonnade Hotel Back Pay features a rooftop pool, open daily from 8 AM – 8 PM (weather permitting). Registered guests have complimentary access to the pool, and outside guests are permitted Monday – Friday for a surcharge. The rooftop pool is closed to the public on Saturdays and Sundays. The pool may also be closed on other occasions for private functions. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

"For the price"

"Lound In-Room AC Unites"

"Good location. Weak in the hosting traits."
We asked where we could get a good breakfast, and, of course, the (very expensive) hotel restaurant was suggested (16 for bacon & scrambled eggs, juice and coffee). "good hotel"
It is a great hotel, very clean, located in a superb spot, close to landmarks and shopping centers, but they give me a room not facing the exciting side. The view outside the window of my room is boring. So the room is ordinary, but can sleep confortably.Genuine Expedia guest review

I would recommend the hotel with reservation. Clean and conveniently located for the meeting I was attending. However, it was loud with thin walls. "small rooms and not a 4 star hotel"
The room was extremely small and we paid for a deluxe room. I'm not sure what could have been the difference between the deluxe and a regular room. We were located in the very back of the hotel around a corner with a closet for a bathroom. In addition, we had to wait for this room to be ready even though it was just 30 minutes prior to stated check […] in time. It seemed like we were put in a more run down room because of booking through hotels.com. The beds were really small and were very hard. I've had more comfortable beds and larger rooms in Europe if you can imagine that. The door knob to the bathroom was loose, the toilet didn't flush, the tub didn't drain, and the room was extremely dark due to poor lighting as well as the window looking out on the adjacent building. The maid was suppose to change the sheets every three days but, only changed them once in an eight day visit. The furniture in the lobby was dirty and needed cleaning. It definitely is not a 4 star hotel and I've stayed in 3 star hotels which are cleaner and include breakfast. I liked the area and it was convenient to the subway, shopping, restaurants, etc. Plus, all of the tours (i.e. duck tour, hop on/off buses) stopped nearby. In addition, there is a grocery store only a block away which came in handy. "Could do better"
I have stayed a few times at the Colonnade first and foremost because of its location. However, I have seen the service and the maintanance of the hotel deteriorating in the last 2 years. The reception service is good and the concierge very helpfull, though not always available. I found the maid group not very pleasant, discortious and loud. Not one […] of them, in a whole week, said "good day o similar" as I would pass by. One afternoon I had to step out and ask two of them, who were sitting on the bed of the room next door to quiet down, as I could hear their loud discussion clearly in my room. My room had always something to improve: more toiletries, the coffee manchine broke, broken chair, light bulb burnt and not changed.
