The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers stands along Park Square east of the Back Bay area of Boston, Mass. The Arlington "T" stop is located less than two blocks away. This property is positioned with easy access to Newbury Street, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and the Theater and Financial districts.

Built by E.M. Statler in 1927, The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers has hosted presidents, sports legends, and famous entertainers. This property is a member of the Historic Hotels of America. On-site restaurants and lounges include McCormick & Schmick's, which serves an extensive seafood menu prepared from freshwater and saltwater fish. Swan's Café presents an American menu. Finale café serves desserts, whereas M.J O'Connors Irish Pub serves traditional Irish fare.
A 24-hour business center houses five computer stations; business services include a technology help desk and an Internet point. A total of 65,000 square feet of function space and 39 meeting rooms accommodate events. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a fee. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby.
A 24-hour, complimentary fitness center houses cardiovascular and weight-training equipment in addition to free weights. Additional guest services include luggage storage, wedding services, and express check-out. Limited on-site parking, which includes garage parking, (surcharge) is provided and additional parking is nearby.
This is a smoke-free property; fines apply for violations. This property is dog friendly.

This 15-story hotel offers 1053 smoke-free guestrooms of varying configurations. Accommodations include cherry-wood furnishings, black-and-white photographs of Boston, and coffee-and-cream color schemes. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses, triple sheeting with 350-thread count linens, and white duvets. Rooms provide coffeemakers; refrigerators and microwaves are available upon request. Bathrooms contain shower/tub combinations, dual showerheads, and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Accommodations include 37-inch, LCD televisions with digital service and premium television channels including ESPN. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Rooms also include MP3 adaptors, in-room safes (accommodates a laptop), desks, and climate control.

"Quick trip to Boston"
Absolutely lovely hotel....truly beautiful in the structure and "old world" charm. This isn't a fancy room, its a beautiful room. The room was comfortable, but smaller than typical hotel rooms. "Great Stay"
We had read mixed reviews about the hotel but we stayed in the king 2 room suite and it was very spacious with a great view of the city out all windows. "Convenient and friendly staff"
I live in metro-Boston and opted to stay in town for an event so that I wouldn't have to worry about catching the commuter rail. All of the staff were extremely friendly and the room - although small - was clean and perfect for a one night stay in the city. I appreciate the retro style of the building. "Great Stay"
Stayed recently at the Boston Park Plaza while in town for a student's art show at the New England School of Art and Design (right across the street). Loved the shopping nearby, the restaurants, a block from the Boston Gardens -- came on the train and the Backbay train station is not far at all. "Clean and Convenient"
I stayed in one of the 'mini' room which is basically half a hotel room. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. I wouldn't recommend this size room for a week long stay, but its perfect for a night or two. "Close to"T" and central location."
Very accommodating and friendly staff. I had forgotten to ask for early check-in when I made my reservation and though the hotel was completely booked they told me they would do what they can. "Large Room and Great Location"
We are a family of 4 with two teenagers. We stayed here for three nights on a combinations college search / vacation to Boston. This hotel was great due to its location to the metro and the gorgeous parks, as well as the size of the room. The room itself was large with two double (not queen) beds and as large open area. A half block away from Arlington Station on the Green Line and a short walk to Copley Square and excellent shopping district, plus 2 short blocks from their beautiful park. The hotel is steeped in History. The only disappointing aspect was the in room safe was locked and security couldn't attend to it right away, so didn't use; and a charge of $12.95 […] a day if you wanted to use their internet connection. Except that this one has quality service, pleasant interactions with any staff I dealt with, it's very clean, superb location a few minutes walk from Boston common. Got a great price too. It is also close to the Green/orange Trolley for hop on/hop off tour of the city...a bargain at this time of year. Room was a bit warm and we were unable to adjust the heat. "Great location, clean and mostly quiet"
The service of the staff was superb as was the condition of the room I stayed in for two nights. The fitness center is larger than most that I've seen in hotels and I was pleased about this. It has an old world feel to the hotel as it is a historic hotel and the tile bathrooms were very charming. The walls are thin so beware. The first night I stayed […] at the Park Plaza the person in the room next to me tipped back a few too many and broke glass in his bathroom around 11 at night - this caused a series of events that created a commotion and the clean-up didn't subside for close to an hour. The Green Line stop at Arlington on the T is just a block away and cabs are everywhere. There is also plenty to eat in the area and in good weather, The Common, is a great park.
