"Excellent location with a great history!"
I loved my stay here it was no less than perfect. We really enjoyed the location, the staff, the perks! Everything about this hotel is great I will definitely be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great experience"
We have stayed here before and enjoy the old hotels. The Parker house is especially great for it's history and it's location! Our room was a bit on the small side but we were only there one night so it was not too big a deal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bad pillows"
Stayed here for three nights due to the latest snow storm. Overall stay was good rooms are a good size bathrooms a little small. Pillows are awful couldn't get a good night sleep an they had no other kinds of pillows so didnt sleep well at night. A little noisie room doors aren't very sound stopping. Could here people in the hallway all night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location"
Excellent location. Close to everything! Restaurant excellent. The only thing is the size of the rooms - too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Always Great"
The service here was great as always. Walking distance to anything except maybe Fenway Park, and close to T stops for anything further afield. The Last Hurrah is a terrific whiskey bar - the kind of place you might expect senators and Brahmins to be negotiating backroom deals - and a great place for people-watching over a nightcap. A little pricey - […] valet parking and a round of drinks charged to the room add up fast here - but you're getting what you pay for. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The hotel couldn't have been better!"
The Parker House is rich in history. It's where the Boston Creme Pie and Parker House Rolls originated. It have a long history of famous guests including Dickens and John WIlkes Booth. The area could not be better for those who want to walk around historic sites and moments from the warf. The Freedom Trail is across the street and it is a 3 minute walk […] to the "T" subway. It made getting to the airport so easy. We arrived very late, so we took a $25 taxi to the hotel. After reading the reviews, we were worried about the room size. It was small, but we barely noticed. The decor and ammenities well made up for any lack of floor space. We we come back, there is no where else we would consider staying. Wonderful!!!!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, TINY rooms"
This hotel is in a great location and walking distance to everything but the rooms are very very small. I've never been in such a small room and for what you pay for I would have expected a little bit more space. Parking was pricey so don't rent a car during your stay there, like we did. "Central, Walkable & Historic"
The Omni Parker hotel is a must stay Boston location if you are interested in walking your way through American history. Located in the heart of Boston, you find yourself steps away from the Boston Common, the North End, Beacon Hill and the Harbor. You are also steps away from the Subway taking you out to other parts of the city.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Elegant and Stately."
The hotel was very nice, and close to Downtown Crossing, the Quincy Market area, Chinatown, and the Freedom Trail. Even walked to the Common/Public Garden and rode on the swan boat. For our 35th anniv., the staff presented us with a bottle of champagne and two Boston Cream Pies, which were originally created at the hotel. We took the train from Maine […] and used the subway. "Sensationally serviceable"
The location (along the Freedom Trail) was perfect, and we were a stone's throw away from the Park Street T station. The hotel staff was friendly and mostly helpful, but they seemed overly busy. We even had a fire alarm go off the morning we arrived. The bed was very comfy, and the temperature inside the room was just right. "Omni Hotel, Boston - great central location"
Formerly the Parker Hotel, this place has the old style charm without the pretentiousness. Very courteous and friendly service from front desk, concierge, bar staff and room service. We were asked on checking in the reason for our visit and my wife mentioned it was our anniversary. Shortly after unpacking in our room we were presented with a small bottle […] of champagne and two Boston Cream Pies, a speciality of the hotel. Room was fairly small but clean and the bed was comfortable. We had read reviews of noise permeating the walls but we did not experience this. Location is perfect, within easy walking distance of Boston Common, and the Freedom Trail passes right outside. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Omni Parker House...loved it!"
We loved our stay at Omni Parker, it was close to everything in Boston....very easy to just hop right on the T and go where ever you want. Although everything is pretty much in walking distance! Staff was very friendly and everything was very clean! I cant wait to go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but smallest room I've ever seen!"
Awesome location right on "Freedom Trail" but the rooms are so small, parking fee was outrageous, in-room dining was below expectations and the hotel does not have any soundproofing at all. All in all I did not dislike it, the hotel has some charm to it but for the money I paid, I expected much more. I won't stay there next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful Anniversary Stay!"
This hotel turned out to be the perfect place for a romantic getaway! When we checked in, the concierge asked why we were visiting. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, he said, "Well, don't eat too much dessert at dinner!" When we came back to our room (after a delicious meal at the Parker House restaurant), we found a bottle of champagne chilling […] on ice and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries, accompanied by a very nice note of congratulations. Plus, our room had a beautiful view of Park Street Church and the Boston Common. A very restful stay and we felt pampered. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best hotel in Boston!"
I went on my fifth anniversary to this hotel with my wife, and when the front desk heard me tell them so they sent us a complimentary bunch of chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. Room and bed was perfect, concierge and staff very helpful and perfect location. You are close to the T and everything in walking distance. We did not care for their famous Boston Creme Pie but that is o.k. The two bars were very nice to have cocktails in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had no idea this was a "pet friendly" hotel and were given a room next door to a woman with two dogs who barked on and off all nite long. "Omni Hotel in Boston--great location, tiny room"
The Omni is great for character, location, and history. We were right next to a red line and a green line stop, and I loved all the history associated with the hotel. Unfortunately, sleeping in the hotel was less of a charming experience. When they say "double bed" they mean it. But I could have double-checked that myself. What I had no control over […] was the noise level--it is noisy, really noisy, like the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. We were on the 14th floor, and we could hear wedding receptions going on above us. Also, every time someone passed by the room. The bathroom was so tiny you couldn't close the door without it hitting the toilet. And there was a huge crack in between the door and the floor, which meant that light flooded in all night. I would not stay here again, but if you do, get a bigger room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I travel quite a bit, and have never written a review on any hotel on any site. But, due to the outstanding service we received at this hotel, I felt I would be remiss in not making the effort. The hotel itself was incredibly convenient to our specific needs, but that is separate and apart from the customer service that we received. Upon our check in, […] the front desk associate asked the reason for our visit, and we mentioned that we were merely attending the courthouse for our marriage license the following day. Joanne proceeded to check us in and made sure our comfort was secured and our dinner reservations were confirmed. Upon our return from dinner, Joanne and the hotel had delivered champagne and chocolate covered strawberries as celebration for our big day. Although this may not seem like a big gesture, this personalized attention to our comfort and enjoyment of our stay is exactly what is missing from every other stay at every other hotel that I frequent. Customer service is always the first compromised, and I will always complain but never make the effort to share. But when such an effort is made, like the effort made at omni, it is my obligation to share, in the hopes that more will frequent this establishment to only encourage this business practice. "Parker House"
Dining in the restaurant at table 40 where JFK proposed marriage to Jacqueline and where Ho Chi Min was a pastry chef, as well as Malcom X a busboy, was amazing. The room was 'historic', meaning not roomy but we enjoyed the ambience, history, and location. We were so very glad to experience Boston.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"OMNI PARKER HOTEL"
THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL WITH LOTS OF HISTORY, HOWEVER THE ROOM THAT WE WERE GIVEN WAS SO SMALL THAT THERE WAS BARELY ENOUGH ROOM TO WALK BETWEEN THE BED AND THE BUREAU. YOU HAD TO WALK INTO THE BATHROOM TURN AROUND AND THEN SHUT THE DOOR. ALSO THE PERSON THAT WE SPOKE TO FROM HOTELS.COM ASSURED US THAT HE BOOKED A DOUBLE BED ROOM, WHEN WE GOT THERE IT […] WAS BOOKED FOR ONE DOUBLE BED AND WHEN WE QUESTIONED THE CLERK SHE WAS RUDE AND SAID THAT WAS WHAT THEY HAD, DID WE WANT IT OR NOT. "Classy, comfy and convenient"
We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. In fact, we mentioned the honeymoon when we called to confirm the room, and were surprised with champagne and chocolate strawberries in our room upon arrival. Concierge recommendations did not steer us wrong, and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. While some reviews point out the […] smallish size of the room and bathroom, we had plenty of space and recognize that in an historic hotel, the rooms will not be the same size as a modern facility. But the historic character of the Parker was exactly what we were looking for to kick start our honeymoon! Plus, the location could not have been more perfect - a few blocks from two different T stops (State and Park) and right near Boston Common and a number of sights at the start of the Freedom Trail. The lack of free wifi was an inconvenience, but access is available at several businesses nearby. Overall, we had a great experience, and would definitely stay there again. "Omni Parker House in Boston-on Freedom Trail"
Loved the look of the hotel and the location, but not the size of our room. We had a KingSize bed in a very small room with only one chair. Fortunately, we did not spend a lot of time in the room as there was so much to see and do in Boston. We did […] have a wonderful dinner in the Parker House diningroom. "Omni Parker House - great location, overpriced"
Location is outstanding - right on Freedom Trail. Bed was comfortable. Lobby is beautiful. Noisy! Air conditioner is noisy when running (which is okay with me) but it cycles on/off a *lot* for no apparent reason. I woke up several times each night due to this. Also, there was a lot of hallway noise - we were around the corner from the elevator, but […] the bell was quite loud, and people talking (or even just walking) in the hall were very loud. I think the room door just needs to be insulated better or something...there was a lot of light visible around the door, so it's not surprising that all the sound came in. Bathroom was okay but not great. Fixtures looked old...not cool historic old (like the beautiful lobby) but just plain ol' old. No pool, hot tub or breakfast. Restaurant is very expensive. Gift shop even more so. Hotel had "free ice cream" in the afternoon - it was a little pre-packaged ice cream cup like what kids might get at a school lunch. All in all, not what I expect for this price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The Boston Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston was amazing! Very close to all the attractions in Boston, convenient to the T and many restaurants. We were happily greeted the moment we arrived by the doorman. Check in was easy and all the staff we encountered were extremly helpful and pleasant! This is a historical hotel steps away from the Old City Hall. […] The room was very comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Do not expect a really large room in Boston, space is a premium.
