"Dont Stay Here"
when i got into bed i was horrified to find a sock at the base of the bed between the sheets. When I called the front desk to report this I was told well you can come down and get clean sheets or we can change them in the am But Im here by myself and I cant do it, So I slept on top of the covers and in the am when I went down to leave while waiting […] for my cab the day clerk came on duty and the night clerk told her after reading the message that He Said oh just leave it its ok ! "Could not tolerate for more than 5 hours"
I was stranded in Tampa for a brief overnight to sleep for a few hours before driving to my destination. I booked this hotel for the cheap price and close proximity to the airport. In hindsight, I would have paid double or triple to stay somewhere else. The room was so disgusting, I spread towels on the bed just to sleep for a few hours. Only to realize […] in the morning light that even they had other people's hair on them. The sink still had dried toothpaste on it from previous people, and the bathtub and toilet were horrendous. "Extended Stay Deluxe Tampa - Airport"
This hotel was awful. Just after checking in, the TV in the room blew up filling tthe room with smoke & smell of burning plastic. The staff was very unhelpful with the situation & didn't really care that my daughter & granddaughter has to run down the hall in their towels(they were in the shower at the time of the TV blow up). When we asked for assistance […] to relocate to another room, we were told that no maintenance personnel was on staff & no one was available to assist from the front desk. After all, as we were told, we had 3 adults in the room & were only staying one night. The cleaniness of the general areas left alot to be desired. We asked for a crib on the reservation but were told only when we checked in that none could be provided & we should have been told that by the website. Obviously, if we had known that, we would not have chosen this location. I sincerely doubt if I will ever use this website again & will tell everyone I know my experience with this hotel & chain. "Never Again"
This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. I expected the room to be better looking. I didn't sleep one bit while I was here; all I heard all night was a load hitting sound above me and then some screaming. I don't know if someone was getting beat up or what. "Very Bad Hotel"
I'm not sure what a crack motel is like, but this seemed likely to be a good fit. As we checked in, odd characters shuffled through the front door. The front desk person had a terrible cold and really shouldn't have been working. The key she gave us didn't work. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke and loud music/bass filled the air from other guests […] in nearby rooms. We decided to switch rooms because a)our key didn't work, and b) the walls were vibrating from bass music. It got worse after that when our key didn't work again. We were stuck in the hallway which stunk to high heaven.... At that point we left. THANK GOD. Marriott in the Tampa Airport charged a little more but it was awesome!!! I highly discourage families to stay here. It seemed really shady. It smelled of filth. Horrible. The hotel management and the brand in general should be ashamed of themselves for marketing this hotel as a "nice cheery clean' hotel. I hope more people speak out and they gut the place.
