"Only would stay in desperate need...."

"Overall disappointing"
The room layout and lack of a fan function on the air conditioning meant that it was impossible to control the temperature and comfort level of the room. "convenient to airport.....but...."
This place is under renovation, so perhaps guests in the future will find it in better condition. The room itself was run down, but clean enough. There was a nice new flat screen and DVD player and there is a kitchen with a full sized frig, but the facility itself was in pretty poor condition, with filthy carpet in the hallway. And did anybody mention....ITS […] DIRECTLY BEHIND A STRIP CLUB???? I did not notice this when I booked the room, and I checked in at 1 am due to a delayed flight. At that hour, the neighborhood was very interesting. Very, very interesting. I did not feel comfortable there alone, although some people might actually find that a plus. All in all, it's cheap, and it's close to the airport. If that's what you need for one night, go for it, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than that. "Hotel Extended Stay in Tampa, Florida"
Upon my arrival after indicating it would be a late arrival, I found out that they had given my room away. I requested a room close to the elevator because I have a heart device (defibrillator) and can't catch my breath when walking to far. I was at the end of the hall! I asked for a double room because I was visiting my daughter and wanted her to stay […] one night in the hotel with me. I was unable to stay with her b/c she lives on a 3rd floor apt. The person at the desk made several calls to make sure I had a room, so for that I am grateful for, but my room was paid for in full so that should not have been an issue. My room was smelly and not very clean, but at the age of 80 I didn't have the strength to change after walking down the hall. I was disappointed with the room and if it were not for my family activities it would have ruined my trip. My family walked me to my room each time to make sure I was not under any duress. "no thanks"
The motel was close to the airport and had lots of space and thats about all we liked about it. It said it had free shuttle but what they didnt tell you is that it doesnt start till 5am. We had taken our rental car back so unless we took a cab we had no way to get to the airport because our plane flew out at 6am. We took the chance and made our plane […] by 5 minutes. When we got to our room I pulled the bed spread back to have a rest and discovered a large yellow stain on the spread. Looked like pee to me. The front desk brought us a new one and told us a story about the person who had the room before us had children and was spilling things everywhere so she was sure it was juice. I was not sure the sheets were even changed. Most motels give you little shampoos but if you wanted any you had to ask. There is only housekeeping once a week but you can ask for clean sheets and towels at the front desk. Next time we will not be staying here. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Got this hotel due to an early morning flight out of Tampa. Airport Shuttle was efficient and free. The public hotel areas were very nice however the room itself was really dirty. We requested a room with 2 queens and discovered we'd received only one bed! We returned to the desk and was told that we would have to pay an additional fee! 1am was not the hour for an all out fight and so we accepted an alteranate room. Everything about the hotel was great except that we couldn't sleep. Our room was on the first floor near the side door by the pool. All night long the door was banging when people entered or left. Normally, I sleep wonderfully but the noise of the voices and the banging left me exhausted in the morning and we needed to fly to California. Nothing like previewed! Hotel was very difficult to find. Currently under construction. Poor neighborhood. The hotel is really outdated, felt like I was trapped in the 70's. All hotel carpet needs replaced. Cigeratte burns were on my bedding. Shower had rust in it. Appliances and electronics need upgrades. Huge crack in the wall above my rooms AC unit. "Extended Stay, Tampa - a bizarre experience"
I stayed for two days, during which time the majority of the windows in the hotel (including mine) were covered with opaque white plastic so that outside paintwork could be done. A slight breeze that rippled through the sheeting gave the impression that I was underwater in some bizarre sci-fi experience. No sunshine and certainly no view. The carpeting […] was stained and I received no maid service on the second day - even though I'd specifically requested fresh towels. My queen-bed room was extremely crowded; definitely not enough room for two people unless you're out during the day. I was not on vacation, and spent a great deal of time in my room, working on my computer. The hotel offers wi-fi Internet, but you must pay for it. On the plus side, the refrigerator was large and clean, the dishwasher worked well, as did the microwave and the iron. The only outstanding memory I have of this hotel is the very helpful and friendly woman at the front desk. The walls were paper thin. Arrived very late so wanted to sleep in a bit but that wasn't going to happen due to the conversation going on next to my room. they were not loud neighbors - just thin walls!
