"Nice hotel and great location"

"What an overpriced, disappointing stay!"
Our room was dreary, crowded and dingy. The air conditioner emitted an odor that caused me to think we might catch Legionaire's disease from it. We checked in on 8/23 and it appeared the room hadn't been rented since July as the latest HBO movie guide was for July. The lighting in bathroom was dismal -- perhaps 60 watts of light at best. The recliner […] in the room had very noticeably stained upholstery and seemed unclean. The breakfast area had a total of 4 (count them four) tables of which only 3 had chairs to sit by and the total square footage of the breakfast area, including counter space appliances could not have exceeded 280 square feet. "Comfortable bed"
Hotel was recently painted and recarpeted. The rooms and hallway had a strong chemical smell, which was probably from the new paint and carpet. Little things needed to be done. "Memominee River Century Ride"
OK - remodeling was going on throughout the hotel while we were there. Pounding and other noise until 9pm each night. Rooms are not very sound proof. Train tracks close by.
