Fairfield Inn by Marriott Lexington/Mount Sterling

We could not have been more pleased with our room or the attention we received by the staff. The hotel smelled very fresh from the front door. The electronic key did not work on our first attempt to open our door. When I returned to the front desk one of the clerks rescanned the key and accompanied me back to the room to make sure it worked (which it […] did). We had an unexpected emergency situation arise with our party, which effected our reservation and the manager immediately took the proper steps to change the reservation status. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because we were running late for the MSU graduation. The manager was instructing guests how they might best avoid delay caused by an accident on route 64. This saved us from going through the official detour everyone else was using. We realized it was a HUGE BLESSING when we reached the point where traffic was trying to enter route 60. We arrived for graduation well rested and on time thanks to the extra efforts of our hotel staff!!! Read more

This hotel was very easy to find. Provided breakfast (waffle maker, cereals, yogurt, bagels, muffins, etc.). FREE WIRELESS INTERNET!

This hotel falls in the category of a budget hotel. That being said, it was a very clean, well maintained hotel. Right off the highway, so location is handy for traveling, not a lot to see in area however. Pool was clean & nice. Bathroom had marble sink, nice tub/ shower. Tiles rather modern, new. There was a coffee maker, hair dryer & iron in room. […] Bed very comfortable, down pillows & down comforter was unexpected & very nice touch. The staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was a plus. I have no complaints, except the room did smell slightly musty. Maybe someone had smoked in room prior to us? Everything in the room was clean & well cared for: I checked... So I can't account for the odor. We were in town for a funeral so I didn't have the energy to bring it to the manager's attention. Breakfast was really good, great variety. The hotel and the room were great. Only complaint is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. That's becoming pretty standard and we missed having it here.

Truly enjoyed our one night at this hotel. Though close to the freeway, there were hardly freeway sounds audible. Staff was extremely friendly and provided good service. Breakfast was well stocked, and frequently replenished.
