"Filthy Carpet and Peeling Wallpaper"
Booked the room based on the recommendation of a relative we were visiting.Outward appearances were all fine. The carpetting in the room, however, was way overdue for cleaning or replacement and the wallpaper in the bathroom was hanging off the wall. Talked to the front desk clerk and was shown the room next door which was in similar shape. Clerk stated […] that the carpet was cleaned twice a year. Obviously this is insufficient.
