I found the hotel very clean and the room comfortable and spaious. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. You are 1 block from I-5 and 3 blocks from the trolley station which makes going somewhere quite easy. There is a very nice park/mariana within walking distiance (app. 3/4 of a mile). My family stayed here for four nights. Monday thru Friday. We found the location to be ideal as it was so close to the freeway on and off ramp for I-5. The hotel is not within walking distance of the main places to visit but it's a short drive. There's a trolley about a block away you can take if you don't want to drive. "Impressive"
Kids & I took a three day break to SD for the new year. Piked hotel for its reviews, when we got there we realized it was out in the middle of nowhere, however everything else made up for that. Clean, quiet peaceful room, nice people/customer service and in the end it was actually nice that it was away from the city. There is a nice bike/walking trail […] close by, with views to the bay. Went running everyday. It was close enough to all the SD attractions anyway - would recommend this place and i think I'm making it a tradition to spend news years in SD. "New hotel in industrial area"
This is a beautiful new hotel with a very nice lobby and rooms that leave nothing out; adequate free parking. The one drawback to the hotel is its location. Access is no problem at all. The problem is that there is an enormous port/industrial facility west of the hotel which includes train tracks and a railroad crossing not more than 100 yards from […] the building. Trucks and trains are nearly continuous day and night. Air conditioner noise dampens the disturbance, but it is noticable (especially if you LOOK out the window). Adjacent to the hotel on the EAST is a restaurant that has a outdoor courtyard facing the hotel in which live bands play on the weekends 'til midnight? or so. We had a room facing the west side so I can't comment on this "noise" factor in a room. We heard them when coming and going, of course, and the pool is on the restaurant side of the building. These two things by no means ruin the hotels good features, but they are good to know before you arrive. Maybe request a room facing a direction besides west?? The hotel is only 1 year old and the inside still maintains very new and nice. The size of the room fairly big. The king size mattress is little soft but it is still okay. The hotel is quite new, so all was neat and clean and fresh. There was a reasonably priced diner/restaurant across the parking lot with reasonably good food served all day, which was convenient. 대체적으로 좋았습니다. 시설 깨끗하고 스탭들도 친절하고. 다른 Best Western 들과 달리 아침식사를 안 주는 것은 처음부터 announce가 되어 있던 것이니 가격을 감안하여 각자 결정할 문제라고 생각합니다. 다만 한 가지 아쉬웠던 점은 수영장 옆 Hot Tub에 락스를 많이 사용했는지 들어가 있을 때 눈이 너무 매웠고, 정체가 불분명한 거품이 많이 떠 다녀서 찝찝한 기분에 오래 이용하지 못했습니다. 그 외에는 위치도 좋고 좋았습니다.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
