"Clean rooms, but lacking."
The hotel is beautiful and has a convenient location. The room was comfortable, although we could hear some noise from the nearby rooms (crying baby, closing of doors). One reason we selected this hotel was the gym, however, its actual condition was disappointing: dirty, broken down machines, no water (the dispenser ran out and I asked for a replacement...about […] a couple of hours After leaving the gym, it was still not replaced!). "Horrible mattress"
The hotel was very nice and actually very elegant for a best western, but the mattress was horrible and felt like we were sleeping on rocks. The people next to our room had two dogs that kept barking all night long, we were so suprised that they allowed dogs but we were so tired to even try to move rooms that we just stuck it out.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Crowded out by pool crashers and smokers"
We were looking for a nice relaxing weekend and upgraded to a suite. The hotel says its non-smoking but the person below us was smoking on the patio and it came right in through the ventilation system. While I was explaining the problem at the front desk, there were people outside smoking and the whole area stunk like cigarettes. People are going to […] smoke- give them a place to do it where it doesn't invade the interior. We were going to spend the afternoon at the pool as it was a gorgeous day but it was very crowded with screaming kids and large family groups. That happens- its a hotel. What made us angry was when we saw people leaving and they did not go back into the hotel. They went out to the parking lot and got in their cars- wet bathing suits and all. We also saw people arriving and going straight to the pool. 70 percent of the people in the pool area were not staying at the hotel. "Not Impressed"
Besides being told the room I booked most likely would not be ready by check in I was already un-impressed. Online, it says there are rooms with views but there aren't. The pool and spa are alot smaller than conveyed online. However, the room was nice, but the air conditioner leaked. The floor around it was soaked and it got our luggage and clothes […] wet. I told the front desk about it but no one came up to fix it. Apparently you do not get housekeeping unless you hang the sign on your door. We went 2 days with no clean towels, so we had to hang them up in the room to dry to use again, and the sad part was, when we left to find something to do, the maids were at the room next to us.
