"Disappointed"

"Worst hotel stay ever"
Plaster falling from ceiling in dining room at bkfst, bkfst had few choices, rooms had water damage, my key card stopped working on day 2 and they blamed me for it, wall paper peeling off, I put a do not disturb sign on my door since I didn't require towel service and when I returned there was a not very nice note under my door letting me know that […] they will not be able to service me or my room at all since they are done at 2pm and if I need anything I'd have to ask desk... which is fine but, the tone of the note was not friendly. Won't stay again. Thinking since its a Ramada that it would have some standards to live up to but I guess not... not a great experience at all. Hotel is very old- not update at all - only good thing was newer mattress which was pretty comfortable but sofa is worn out . Free breakfast wasn't good at all. We were not at all happy with this hotel. The room was clean,but had torn blanket on bed and a tv that looked like it was from the 80's. The pool was so dirty that we couldn't see the bottom and the sitting area was like a dungeon and the roof was leaking in several places. We couldn't get any REAL coffee pods for our room only decaf. The lounge charges […] a fee to enter with no discount for hotel patrons. The bar was like a ghost town with tvs also from the 80's. The breakfast a joke other than the coffee. The hotel was very overpriced for the condition it was in. The rates were inflated because of a convention and the following week the rates were lowered to less than half the price. There appeared to be structural water damage as there was rot around doors. The carpeting was way past need of replacment. The hotel had an inidcation of repair but nothing […] was worked on. The hot breakfast was FRESH out of the COLD refrigator. The worst breakfast everrrrrrrrr. We didn't need our cards to get into the motel because the doors were not locked. The motel is out dated. When we booked our hotel, we booked a non smoking room with a king size bed. When we arrived,we got a room with two full size beds. I spoke to two different clerks at the front desk,one told me they had no rooms with king sized beds,the other one told me its based on availability. This is the first time we booked a room, and did not get what we requested. […] Also,the bathroom light would go off for a time,and then come back on, then this would repeat, and the refrigerator had a puddle of water in it. Never ever, EVA, EVA staying at that Ramada or any other Ramada after my stay. Moist rug floors, moldy ceilings, bed bug inside my pillow case. I shouldve just slept inside my truck. The pool was not available and water stains all over the ceilings. In the lounge where breakfast was being serve they had to place a bucket in the middle of the room because there was a leak. I had to cover my cereal so no water would drop in it. There was false alarm early in the morning couple times the attendant was not able to give us any information. it was aweful wall paper falling down ,nold on walls, dirty sheets ( I asked for clean ones and they gave them to me to change), a used wash cloth was left in the shower from a previous occupiant. I have stayed at this hotel before. I liked that it was across the street from Dutch Wonderland. The past times I have stayed at the hotel it was old but always clean. It was a cheap room with a free breakfast & most important across from the amusement park. This time it was dreadful! The hotel has mold coming out of the ac units, the ceiling tiles […] all were wet & often dripping god I hope water!! My room had 2 towels and one wash cloth. When asked for more the house cleaner opened her closet and said take what you want! Very poorly run facility! The breakfast now was cold cereal, english muffins, jelly, & coffee or tea. When I asked a worker what happened to the hot breakfast? My children like making their own waffles. Her response was in 2 weeks we won't even have this! never again! While this hotel certainly was near (right across the street) from Dutch Wonderland even that couldn't make up for it... When we arrived there was a wedding at the hotel, the wedding guests took ALL the parking spaces, they were setting off fireworks in the parking lot, had a HORSE and a van blaring music so loud you couldn't think. You […] would think that these things would be unnacceptable at a hotel.. but not here! We were disappointed in our stay this time. First of all I found the lady at the desk when we checked rather snotty. Them lady at the desk on the weekend was very nice. Next there was no refrigerator in our room as had been in the past. When I asked at the desk I was told all refrigerators were taken out of the rrom and the ice machineon our floor was […] out of order.???? The indoor pool had no towels available and the washroom their was disgusting - the toilet was plugged for two days. We had four people in our room - three towels. The maid on the second day did leave us four towels after we asked for them. Also the hotels have concerts on Friday and Saturday night and good luck for the guests staying there to find a parking space. The Ramada there have wonderful grounds and good facilities but whoever is in charge of keeping up the facility is gradually letting it deteriorate.
